Went here through a Groupon deal. We were excited for French/Mediterranean food. I thought that it would be a classy night with great food.
The view is really lovely, especially at night when the Harbour lights up.
Our waiter was fabulous, and I loved the Cocktail 🍸 that he recommended.
The food was pretty average sadly....good value for the price but I guess I was expecting more from the look of the place, the view etc.
We chose the Calamari, (better at most takeaways), were a little underdone, and could have been plated much better, the Twice Cooked Pork. There was no crispy skin (except where theyust have tried to torch a bit of it), and it could have been left in for at least another half an hour, but hubby enjoyed it once he added some salt. We also have the Duck, it was very soft, and the beans were cooked perfectly.
For dessert we had the Creme Brulee....the top wasostly soft with uncaramalised sugar toffee which was disappointing,.and the custard was quite sweet....but it was still yummy, with lots of little vanilla speckles. Also the Brownie which was a bit stodgy, but was also very chocolatey and went down quickly with the Dolce Deleche...
Read moreI was due to have surgery the next day and needed a relaxing nice experience for dinner to put me in right space. Wow do I choose the right restaurant. The staff were untra friendly, especially Ben who is an asset to them. The food was awesome. Probably the nicest meal my wife and I had for as long as we remember. The food was unusual, yet stunningly good from the entree's to the sweets. I had pork chop with an amazing rhubarb and apple sauce that was out of this world. Without doubt the most tender pork I've had in my life. The view was of the harbour Bridge and ambience was first class. Even the paintings around reception were special. The prices were very reasonable, no more than an average restaurant , in fact way less than we were expecting. I give the whole experience a solid...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem in North Sydney. Easy to access via train, very cheap prices and with a very nice view from the Bridge and Sydney Harbour. The view itself is not the most important for them, as you will notice by night the light of the restaurant makes it impossible to take a good picture. The highlight is definitely the food. Chef Jeff really knows the business. Not so many options, but enough to please everyone and all dishes are cooked to perfection. We had the fish and pork cutlets and both were amazing. They also have good and cheap wine options to go with your meal. Don't forget to try the...
