Lush Bowl ‘n Roll — Restaurant in Sydney

Poor customer service. Today 04/11/21, I’ve bought two pho’s at this restaurant. I really love their foods, so from long distance i came to strathfield to take away pho as it tastes great. But today I’ve got poor packaging to my take away pho.

My brother explained to the owner that the soup was spoiled to the paper bag. The paper bag was soaking wet to pho soup( because of poor packaging). The plastic wasn’t wrapped properly and the plastic that they’ve used to package my soup was only plastic wrap. And the owner told us that the soup should be wrapped again with a plastic bag. But it didn’t with my take away. I understand that they can make mistakes while they were busy.

But you guys can see in the photo, it was wrapped with only plastic wrap and plastic bag was used only for the vegetables.

Anyways, the owner replied to my comment saying i haven’t worn a helmet but I did. You guys can check out in the photo. It was broken into pieces.

While i was riding my bike, suddenly the foods inside the bag was falling into the ground and I’ve lost my balance as the floor was wet too. So I’ve fallen to the ground and hit my head. But luckily I wasn’t injured as i was wearing a helmet. I was in anger as they packaged poorly and made me fall in to the ground. And few minutes later the car went pass by and my helmet was crushed more.

So my brother explained this and all he wanted was fully refund and new fresh pho. But the owner was mocking My brother as he asked for “Fully refund and new fresh pho”. I couldn’t believe this situation so he asked him “why are you mocking me?”. And he replied to him saying he didn’t. But with my own two eyes and my brother’s, we saw him mocking us and the sound he made when he mocked us.

More unbelievable thing is that when my brother and I was walking to the counter to get 50% refund, the owner was turning his head side to side looking at another customer. It looked like we were doing something annoying. But WE CAME HERE FOR THEIR MISTAKE!! I can’t believe their actions.

I could of been dead if something worse happened because of their mistake. I believe i should give them negative rate...

I always loved the crackling pork rolls, got my colleagues to get it from here, they loved it. They asked me to get some for them if I was in the neighbourhood. I also loved the “super crunchy” shoestrings chips. Not anymore. The first two times were perfect as they advertised it. After that it went downhill. One of my colleagues said so too. The third time I wanted to share it with my friends so I got two bags but they were all soggy. Then I stopped and after awhile I ordered one, came back soggy as well. I left it again for a few months. Today I ordered again, it was soggy again and oily. I told the very kind staff, she touched it ( they shouldn’t but I didn’t mind ), she agreed and about to take it to the kitchen, I stopped her thinking if they redid it again it would absorb more oil, but before I said anything, the owner stood up and had a look (without touching it ) and said “it’s crunchy.” IT IS NOT !!! Some of the chips were even undercooked. I am wondering if they mixed the old chips that didn’t sell with the new ones. The staff couldn’t do anything only to whisper the word sorry. I have videos to show them if they wanted to see them. I certainly will NOT order the chips ever again. I gave them THREE chances. I threw all the chips in the bin. Only because the owner didn’t want to loose $3.50, he has lost one chips customer. I certainly won’t come for the chips or recommend it to anyone. My chip is so much better, I buy it from supermarkets n put it in my air fryer, cost less and healthier. I only come if colleagues want to have the rolls but for me...

I've ordered from them online through food delivery a few times and I can only say the food is good but let down by carelessness from staff. Being as fair as I can, I really do love their banh mi (Vietnamese rolls) and they offer generous portions and pricing (I always ask for extra carrots which they kindly give). They get the basics down right and are the best in the area.

However what's disappointing and frustrating is that orders are frequently wrong. I'm not sure if it's just the lunch time rush but something has been wrong in my last three orders. First it was an incorrect meat with my banh mi but I still happily ate it and wrote it off to a once off. Then they forgot an entire banh mi which left me hungry (thankfully it was my order that went MIA and not one for my guests) but it was refunded through the food service. On the latest order, they forgot to include the dressing for their vermicelli salad which made for a plain meal (do...
