There's an old saying that goes somewhere along the lines of, "You are not truly dead until the memory of you is forgotten." I often ponder on this saying in my most trying times of crushing existentialism and whenever I find myself contemplating the frail thin line that is my own mortality. Tonight I was in line waiting for my food at McDonald's Werrington when I found myself, yet again studying this small but very powerful saying which I'm 90% sure I hadn't made up. By the 20 minute mark I began to consider the possibility that I may have died on my way in here.. "Impossible," i thought, "They took my order, surely they must remember me! Surely they must see me in the queue waving my arms around and asking other customers if I'm translucent."
30 minutes was my breaking point. My youthful body, now tarnished with age and malnourished beyond repair. I was so hungry. I began to wonder if my friends would remember me. How long it would take for my family to mourn and move on. My son will grow up without his dad. This was the end.
It wasnt until the staff saw me rocking violently on the floor and gathering dead cockroaches into a pile that they realised they had forgotten about me. They whipped up my food in a flash and even upsized my drinks to a large for the inconvenience. But the damage was already done. Time is irreplaceable. And so is the cheeseburger they forgot to...
Read moreThis maccas accused me after a fellow worker asked to take my order at the kiosk after small chit chat while ordering while trying to enjoy my meal outside was approached by management.who accused me of making a fourteen year old feel weirded out by pointing out the time and the fact her parents let her work that late.i have never felt so angry in my life.the manager was totally out of line.but had to back his staff member I understand.i told them I would not be back after they gave me the option to go back but keep the chat to a minimal I stayed away for a year and come to the conclusion why let it get in the way of me going there and the second time I go there the cops walk up to me and say I’m band.i said what they told me I am welcome back.the way one of the officers treated me even picking things as low as a net over my Ute.warning to anyone that goes there I was an innocent bystander before any of this happened.can happen to anyone the girl shouldn’t work there if she can’t realise a man try to hit on them and a man that just wants to get a meal.and now I actually am band after they said I wasn’t.coos eat there free and handle all there...
Read moreSelf service ordered as no service at counter, did not even print receipt to prove my purchase. Get order open one of the kids happy meals to find only a small chips, this place has some serious quality control had to stand and wait to rectify happy meal, no apology more of a grunt and here ya go. Then whilst eating witnessed multiple customers having to go back to get orders corrected. This is not the first time having issues here, but seem to always hope that something will turn it around and have an improvement. Poor management and lack of order in the crew seem to be really dragging the place down. Get back to basics and provide good service, correct orders and appropriate training and it will come good.
3 years on, lets have another try. Well customer service is non existent, still can't assemble an order correctly which leads me to believe there is no qc system in place between a paper receipt multiple screens displaying orders linked to an order number and human accountability is to be traced back to poor store leadership and training programs. Back to hungry...
