Ask for another bag and check your order before you leave!
I ordered a McFamily Box only to find out after reaching home to find the 20 chicken nuggets missing, much to the annoyance of my kids. Rang the store but no answer. Decided to head back to the store but instead of an apology, was asked for a photograph of the missing nuggets??? They gave me the nuggets in the end but it seems they did so reluctantly. They must think their customers have nothing better to do than to try to "con" them out of 20 nuggets. I wasted another 30 minutes driving back to Hurstville for this.
I will also add that this is not the first time items have been missed by this store but it is the first time I have provided feedback. When the store gets busy, they tend to print out the orders instead of leaving them on the screen. I guess they must get measured by how long the orders take to complete as a KPI and try to circumvent the system by doing that.
Needless to say, we will not be returning to this store anymore nor frequnting Macca's as much...
Read moreI can't believe the service or the ignorance of the managers and crew at this place. On Saturday 23rd May 2015 we attended the so called McDonalds, one person serving with about a line of 15 people waiting, finally the manager put someone else on the register who was totally uninterested. Stood at the registered disinterested.
Once we were served we sat down to eat to find our drinks didn't taste right, not enough calibration. My son to the drinks back to the manager at the front who was so flat chat whilst everyone else just stood around, he proceeded to ask what was wrong and when my son told him that after we tasted them they didn't taste right he proceeded to pick up both cups and take a sip from them both to confirm that we were in fact right. To say we were horrified was an understatement we just had our mouths around those straws. Then he proceeded to ask what he would like us to do, replacements thanks. This he did they tasted no better. ...

Well, they prioritise if you're an Uber Eats driver. I think I've only seen a single occasion where they've had to wait any length of time. I'm sure there's a lot of pressure from above to not lose out on that kind of business, but I digress.
In short, they call the tickets out by order time and hold back the later ones even if they're ready.
I've had at least a dozen occasions where I've seen my order sit there and missed trains because of a hiccup in a large order ahead of mine. I've also seen this happen to other people enough times.
It's so bad that I'm beginning to skip out because nothing's worse than having to wait an extra 15 mins to get home after a long day's work just to have some cold fast food. And I typically stop by at least 2-3 times a week.
Managing a few large orders isn't hard. Managing lots of small orders also isn't hard. The true skill is being able to slip those small orders through while working on...
