McDonald's Penrith Leagues — Restaurant in Sydney

This McDonald's is conveniently located on Mulgoa Rd, Penrith at the turn off to Penrith Leagues Club. Was in the area around lunch time and wanted to grab a quick meal before visiting some shops in the area. Without having to battle a shopping centre for a food outlet this McDonald's has good access off the main road at the traffic lights enabling an exit out heading north or south. The traffic on Mulgoa road always moves pretty well so you won't be in a jamb to get in or out. Plenty of on site parking. Again the ordering interface on the self serve inside the McDonald's store's need to be reprogrammed by their tech-heads A lot faster to order at the counter grab a number and sit. It's good the see how promptly the staff can get the order to the tables HOT! Well done. But just make sure what you order is up to spec if not, take it back to the counter. Legit mistakes are often made but will be corrected usually quite easily. Generally all McDonald's Restaurant Standards are much higher these days and it's good to see. The fries I initially got were only 3/4 cup full took it back & got the proper [hot] amount no probs there. The staff are friendly and the this restaurant was well presented in all observable areas. Just about everytime we have come through this McDonalds drive-thru, We have been handed our order that had missing or wrong items. We have made it a habit of having to check the bag to make sure everything is correct. The last time we came through the drive-thru, we were in a hurry, and didn’t check the bag. 4 Missing Medium fries, and only realised when we arrived home. We called the McDonalds Penrith Leagues and explain the situation, the manager said that they would send out a voucher to cover the cost of the missing fries. We received the voucher in the mail today. $10 voucher. The voucher says “sorry for the inconvenience”….. Pity the $10 doesn’t cover the price of 4 Medium fries, nor the “inconvenience”. What a joke. Seriously, how hard is it to follow a simple order ticket and put the correct items in a bag? And……. How hard is it to multiply $3.65 x 4 ?……

Next review will also include pictures of the burgers if they resemble anything we got last time. Looked like they were used as frisbee’s before being put in...

McDonald is a sometimes treat, but this is one trip I wish I had not bothered to make. We live around the corner so any food we buy locally is usually hot when we get home. My family and I did NOT enjoy the experience of cold burgers, nuggets and soggy cold chips. It was so bad we had to heat it in the oven. My child completely refused any of it as it was disgusting. To add insult to injury, the delivery window argued over what I had ordered and made me drive though again and have the cashier confirm my order with them and have them give me the items I had paid for. THEN when I get home I realise they have robbed me anyway because they gave me medium meals when I paid for large. The drinks tray was so overloaded with our ice creams and drinks that when I turned a corner it tipped over and spilled though out the foot well of the passenger side, destroying my kids icecream. All in all a waste of time, money and a lot of stress and cleaning the car. I would rather sit on an echidna than...
