Midnight Pizza Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

My family has been a loyal Midnight Pizza customer for 25 years now. The food we ordered tonight was absolutely disappointing, and the order wasn’t even correct. The website menu is incorrect, with many of the things being discontinued. The portion sizes have significantly decreased. One meal wasn’t even packed in, two of the pizzas were stone cold, when we got there to pick up the order, they said that they were out of prawns, instead of calling back and explaining. While this was going on, the rest of the food just sat waiting on the bench. And to top it off, the pasta I ordered came with cheese already topped with cheese when delivered, rather than kept side in container. I can be hospitalised for eating dairy products, so that was also not pleasant either. First time I’ve ever had that from not only this place but from any restaurant. What restaurant puts the cheese on prior ? ?

I had the Shrimp Rose Pasta and it was absolutely phenomenal! The sauce was creamy with just the right touch of tomato richness, and the shrimp were fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The flavors were balanced beautifully — rich, comforting, and packed with depth. Truly one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time.

What makes this restaurant even more special is the wide range of pasta options on the menu. Whether you’re into creamy sauces, zesty tomato bases, seafood, or vegetarian choices, there’s something for everyone. Each dish feels thoughtfully prepared and expertly crafted.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and making sure we were comfortable from start to finish. You can tell the chefs are passionate about what they do — the quality and presentation speak for themselves.

This place is a pasta lover’s dream and definitely worth coming back to....

If you want to be lied to from staff and yelled at by the owner when you complain about that; this is your place!!! Called to confirm baby octopus - would have simply ordered elsewhere if it wasn’t - when it was sent upon delivery, the complaint was ignored by staff and had to call the owner at other store and was spoken down to and undermined. Sorry, since when was baby octopus bigger than the palm of an adults hand? And subsequently having owner threatening me that they have my mobile number now after a simple complaint? Your staff lied. We called to double check and order direct so your company didn't lose small business profits to a delivery app. Shame on you. Don’t yell at me because I was trying to do the right thing and your company didn’t give me what I confirmed, paid for & ordered and as for blaming your staff for being uneducated?
