Read moreWe decided to try this place the other day as it is local. There were three of us, two chose ‘all you can eat’, and one person chose ‘a la carte’.
For ‘all you can eat’ you order your dishes through a QR code on the table, and for ‘a la carte’ you order through a waitress off the menu. The table only had the ‘all you can eat’ menus, and the waitress had to bring over an ‘a la carte’ menu. She brought the menu and immediately asked if the one person was ready to order their ‘a la carte’ meal.
We ordered and the ‘all you can eat’ food came relatively quickly (except a few of the dishes, which never arrived). However, we waited over an hour for the ‘a la carte’ meal and had to follow up with the waitresses about 5 times.
We finally received the rice for the ‘a la carte’ person’s meal and followed up again about the main/meat portion of their meal which took around another 20 mins to arrive. By the time the full ‘a la carte’ meal had arrived, the rest of us had practically finished our meals.
We then decided we would have dessert which you cannot order through the QR code. I ordered the ice creams through a waitress, and she said she would bring them right over. We waited about another 30 minutes to receive the ice creams.
They did make our jug of soft drink complimentary to apologise for the missing meals and long wait time, but this did not make up for the bad management at this location.
Later when we were home, my partner received a call saying we hadn’t paid for our dinner and his card had declined. When we had left the restaurant, we were given a receipt that confirmed our payment went through. The order and amount owing that was read to us over the phone was completely different to ours. My partner cleared that up with them.
All up we spent almost 2 hours waiting for food, never got a couple of our dishes, and then also were chased for payment which we had already made.
Needless to say, we will not be revisiting. I don’t know why you would offer 'a la carte' if you can only service 'all you can eat' options.

First time experience was okay-ish, second time wasn't so great. Orders were forgotten, and dishes came really slow. We orderd the Sushi & Sashimi set but waited for over 50 mins. It finally came after repeatedly sending reminders to the already agitated overworked stressed-out waitresses. And worst of all, I was mocked for my English pronoucing a dish slightly differently, by the head waitress who apparently thought she spoke better English than me. (Yes, you, the one with dyed hair and super fake eyelashes. I hope you get a good raise if you were not the owner or related to the owner).
It wasn't a pleasant meal, I can't even say it was in any way of a culinary experience either. The environment was noisier than the businest pub, I literally couldn't hear what people was saying on the same table. Also, forget about social distancing, tables were put together really close for max guests capacity. Under staffed, under trained, unhygienic... it was just utter chaos.
One star for each time I dined there. Fool me twice, and I shall not be coming back. The food is cheap but it just doesn't worth...
