Five stars
Why 5 stars you may ask?
Was it the ambience? The quality of the donuts? The parking and convenient location?
I suppose, yes. That is PART of why I gave this place the highly coveted 5 stars.
But no......the real reason. The truest reason. The answer you will find in the depths of my heart ... In the furthest crevice of my being...
Is an angel named Peter.
There he was....Hospitable. Courteous. The very epitome of a modern day James Dean.
Even now as I sit, eating my chewy doughnuts....all I can think about is this young, titan of industry....Peter.
Oh my dearest son, how I long for my employees to be like you. To serve, and smile and strive under pressure like you. With a cool demeanor like Gu Jun-Pyo from Boys over Flowers.
People of Cabramatta. Neigh. People of Australia.
Hear what I say.
Come to Mochiric.
Come and see this customer service icon in the flesh.
Give him a tip. Give him a high five. Shake his hand and stare into his eyes.
And you will feel the inner peace and joy I feel right...

We were asked to do a taste test in ED square for a new dough they are trialing out. So we tasted it and preferred the old dough better.
We decided to buy 3 doughnuts. After eating the 3 we realised it was too dense for our liking so we came back to give them our thoughts to help them incase they are collecting data for their next dough.
The lady at the stand took the feedback all wrong and started being sour and defensive.
Stated that people like the dough 50/50 and that people are different.
In my mind then why do a taste test if you already know thr answer? Why do a taste test if you cant handle a simple review and feedback?
Honestly that experience was a deal breaker for me probably wont go back to this. Its abit expensive in terms of price aswell.
I would pay that much for shortstop doughnuts...

When I tried these, I loved that they offered flavours in two textures to choose from. One more dense and the other airy. People have their preferences but I actually loved the dense one to really experience the longevity of the chewiness of a MOCHI donut.
I think they could perhaps refine the recipe slightly as when I brought them home after about 5 hrs, they didnt look as good instore. Perhaps a bit soggy and glazing really melted...?
Flavour wise - it's bang on and amazing. I would love to try their other...
