Absolutely divine, i truly don't think you can find more authentic malay-canto food in sydney (+halal). we came for eid dinner and spent about 100 for 3 dishes and 2 drinks.

First off is the service, the place is literally a proper cantonese Jaau Lau setting- let's just call it cantonese "fine" dining places. Every waiter and waitress you see are absolutely well trained and has a uniform etiquette(e.g., making way for customers at stairs, even as small as a detail with putting their hands together while greeting you out the door). The uncle who served us was also a true gentleman, he took care of us throughout the night and we had a laugh together. good vibes for sure. (he also speaks cantonese, automatically a major sign of authentic flavour when it comes to a culture)

As I was saying, flavour was absolutely immaculate match with the ones back in Home Kong🥰really made me feel like home especially with the cured fish chicken fried rice, it's full of "Wok Hey" and perfect control of saltiness, i do prefer the chicken to be diced over sliced but who cares honestly if the flavour is such a catch!!; Satay Chicken is also properrrr, i was disappointed as first when i didn't find the mung bean vermicelli and was over my head when i dug them out from the bottom😂it's like finding treasures cus that's how u know it be authentic🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️the only way to cook satay! always with mung bean vermicelli, the way they absorb the sauce is just phenomenal, tastes best when you eat them with rice; ngl, wasn't really a fan of honey chicken cus i hate the taste of honey, i would much more prefer the sugar way but i guess we had to accomodate to the healthy aussie flavour so yea lol it's just personal opinion though!

Ambience, again it's all Jaau Lau style, they lay down table cloth after every party, it's the most hygienic way; they also have wet wipes instead of tissue- another iconic Jaau Lau thing i'd say, and it's gentle scented not the strong disinfectant stuff, so you get to wipe your mouth ur hands everything. Also love the fact that we have a bone plate, very rare to find in sydney for sure ♡♡

anyways this place now holds a special place in my heart, only cantonese/hongkonger will understand how comforting it is to get to have cantonese food this authentic, also as a revert it has been the hardest mission to hunt halal cantonese food since everyone back home loves Kanzeer, may Allah SWT bless this restaurant and keep them...

Neptune Palace is a culinary gem that seamlessly intertwines Malaysian and Chinese flavors, offering a dining experience that is as diverse as it is delicious. This halal cuisine haven transcends mere meals, delving deep into the rich tapestry of Malaysian and Chinese history to craft a menu that's a testament to culinary mastery.

The Murtabuk, aptly nicknamed the "Rusty Motorbike," is a journey of flavors that takes your taste buds on an exhilarating ride. Its intricate layers unfold to reveal a harmonious blend of spices, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Neptune Palace's culinary artistry.

The Dry Curry Soft Shell Crab is a true standout, a crispy symphony of textures that dances on the palate. This dish is a celebration of both the Malaysian and Chinese culinary traditions, blending the best of both worlds into a delightful creation that leaves a lasting impression.

For those seeking a beefy indulgence, the Stir Fried Wagyu Scotch Fillet with Soy Bean is an absolute triumph. The premium Wagyu, expertly stir-fried to perfection, delivers a succulent experience that elevates the dining experience to new heights. Each bite tells a story of culinary finesse and dedication to quality.

And then there's the Snow Crab Mentega, a dish that captures the essence of Neptune Palace's commitment to excellence. The delicate sweetness of snow crab meets the rich, buttery notes of mentega, creating a symphony of flavors that is nothing short of sublime. It's a testament to the restaurant's dedication to using top-notch ingredients.

Among the crowd favorites are the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Mongolian Lamb, each a masterpiece in its own right. The Pineapple Fried Rice is a carnival of colors and tastes, with the sweetness of pineapple perfectly complementing the savory notes of the rice. The Mongolian Lamb, on the other hand, is a robust and flavorful dish that reflects the diverse influences present in Neptune Palace's kitchen.

Neptune Palace isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey through time and tradition. The menu, a carefully curated selection of dishes, showcases the dedication to providing an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. From the first bite to the last, Neptune Palace Malaysian & Chinese Halal Cuisine delivers an exceptional fusion of flavors that lingers on the senses, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a...

I went to have dinner with very important guests of mine. I ordered my food and I was first of all served the wrong food which was five pieces of satay. When I corrected the waiter saying I did not order five satays, I ordered five satay chicken hotpots. He kept on arguing that I put through the wrong order and further asking me whether I was sure that I ordered five satay chicken hotpot in an aggressive and rude manner. His reaction was "Fiveee! Satay chicken hotpot? ARE YOU SURE? I CAN CHANGE THE ORDER! BUT FIVE SATAY CHICKEN HOTPOT??? ARE YOU SURE? ARE YOU INSANE?" When he went back to the counter to amend my order, he kept on pointing his fingers at our table and telling his Manager that he thought we were insane to order this much food.

It doesn't matter what I am going to do with all the food that I have ordered. I would eat it then and there or just get it as take away. The job of the waiter is to take the order and serve the food. Occasionally, he may advise if I have ordered too much food. But never treat the customers in such demeaning manner.

I was thoroughly embarrassed in front of my guests and felt unwelcomed. This same waiter put his arrogance on the line when I asked for water without ice the last time I visited Neptune Palace. It felt like he had to travel to another continent to get the water.

This was not my first time here. I had great experience here in the past. The food has always been good. However, the service has never been upto the mark. I believe it has further declined basing my judgement on the last two visits.

I would definitely think twice before visiting here...

Went tonight. The worst experience of my life. I was reprimanded for spending $57 instead of the minimum of $80 for two people. They service was atrocious. Rude and arrogant. The toilets were a disgrace. For the five star prices, you need to maintain 5 star toilets. I will never go to this restaurant again. Earlier review. Consistently good over the years. Wonderful old school service with entire experience reminiscent of a 1970's Chinese meal with a predominantly Anglo patronage. Except for the ominous presence of wine, beer and spirits for those who cannot miss a meal without it, everything else is safely Halal. An extensive menu with something for everyone and private prayer space is very convenient too
