One Shot Specialty — Restaurant in Sydney

I came here today and ordered a "rose white chocolate latte", which on the menu was $5.50 for a large (and $5 for a regular), and got charged $6.20...? I checked the menu again after being charged and it most certainly said $5/$5.50, so I'm unsure if they raised the prices without updating their menu in the window or if I was just overcharged, and I would have very happily paid $6.20 if they'd at least been upfront & clear about it, but it wasn't really the best of first impressions.

The organisation also seemed a bit... haphazard? Around ten minutes after we ordered, we were told that one of the drink ingredients (syrup?) was out of stock- it happens, and we swapped to a different drink without too much trouble. But when another customer came in to order some sort of juice a similar thing happened, this time with apples being out of stock. I also nearly got given some other table's food...

I don't really blame the staff, they seemed plenty nice and just seemed a bit understaffed if anything. And the drink was rather delicious and presented beautifully, I'm just unsure if I was given the wrong drink (drink I received shown below?) or something because I didn't really taste the...

🏠 They offer dine-in & takeaway, but trust me… dine-in for the full vibe. Outdoor seating is perfect when it’s sunny 🌞, but on cold or rainy days, cozy up inside. The courtyard is a total gem 🌿✨

☕ Ambience: Relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for slow sips and tasty bites. Drinks = absolutely delicious 😋

🅿️ Parking: Street parking only (and tricky to find), but buses 🚍 & trains 🚆 are just a short walk away.

I landed last night at 8 pm Australian time and arrived at my room at about 9:40. It's raining and cold. Currently, I'm sitting in a cafe about a mile from my room, allowing my phone to charge for my Zoom interview at 9 am (about thirty minutes from now), and my burning, watery eyes tell me that I didn’t get much rest last night. But this second cortado is helping. My phone seems to be charging slowly so I might stay put and have the interview here, but we’ll see. I don't want to impose, but the owner has insisted and even offered to turn the music down so I can hear the interviewer. His customer service is otherworldly and they may have the best coffee I've ever had. Anywho, thanks for checking on me, I appreciate it and will keep you posted as things move along.
