A great quality seasoned whole chicken and some of the tastiest chips that fast food has to offer, all for $15. It was a bargain! Thanks Oporto.

Today, I returned for the same offer after Oporto sent targeted EDMs for a deal available from 5pm-9pm on Thursdays. I was unable to order on the app (said item was out of stock). Another customer was experiencing the same issue. We escalated to management requesting the deal be honoured despite the system being unable to process it. 2 staff members did their best to politely not honour the deal when they should have put us first. It took approx 40 minutes of arguing and persuasion for staff to resolve the issue. This is NOT customer service, and the free coke provided does not excuse the lack of care shown to customers in general. About two months ago I ordered a Bondi Meal from Carlingford Court Poporto's. The young man who took my order was polite and clean looking. There were about four other people waiting for their orders as well. An older man with a beard appeared and stood near the hot chip area and proceeded to scratch his beard thoroughly for about 40 seconds. Then to my horror and without gloves started putting hot chips into their containers without washing his hands. He packed up my meal and gave it to me. My stomach was turning and I threw my meal into the bin as the hygiene was disgraceful. I called Oporto Head Office as soon as I returned home and they sent me an email a few days later, apologizing and said they would send a voucher for a replacement meal. I haven't heard back since.
