The manager has no clue and no people skills, seem non bright! They ripped us off a chicken fillet in our burger and gave us a double instead of triple when we paid for a triple and when i got home and found out i called to tell him and he replied twice "there is no way we would have done that." Then i had to educate him on customer service and what he should do in this situation. Very unprofessional very rude. Not very bright and seem to not care about customer service. AND THEY NEVER PUT ENOUGH MAYO IN THEIR BURGERS, NOT AT NEWTOWN, AND NOT AT OTHER STORES! And if you order extra mayo they charge you for it and then they drown that burger to the point where you can't eat it! All Oportos never put enough mayo on their burgers. Seems to be the same nationality that works in Oportos across the stores and they have no customer service skills or no common sense on how to handle situations. Sad; yet they can keep getting employed... Also THEIR BATHROOM IS NEVER CLEAN. I WAS GOING THERE 10 YEARS AGO AND 10 YEARS ON THEIR BATHROOM IS THE SAME!! FULL OF URINE ON THE FLOOR, BOTTLES, FILTHY SINK AND STINKS. PUTS YOU OFF YOUR FOOD. ALSO Oportos waiting time is ALWAYS over 10 minutes!!! Not accaptable! ALSO Oportos has always been grossly overpriced. A simple burger costs over $8!!! And a meal cost at least $12. The biggest RIP OFFS EVER!!! I don't know how they're still in business. Lucky the burgers at this stage are unique. I hope a new retailer takes over...
Read moreI am a big fan of Oporto now for a long time but this store is like a different business. The worst Oporto I've been too by far. I ordered on the app in my break to make it faster, arrived a couple of minutes after and waited 10 minutes before asking, I was the only one standing at the counter and multiple staff walked past and didn't even acknowledge me. I assumed iy was being cooked but turns out it was sitting on a bench behind wall. Girl couldn't care less and just put on counter then turned away. When I opened the bag it was a disaster...sauce all over the wrapper and looked as though had little lettuce. Even the outside of the bun was soaked in chilli sauce and Mayo. The burger was cold as but what ticked me of was that the the two chicken pieces were only half the size of the bun. You can see this Owner and staff just don't care less about anything.
I never do but I took it back and the lady said it was my fault for not calling out to them when I arrived. How about ask me if I'm OK??? No personality, no care. The place is disguisting and looks like a public toilet. There was about 6 uber riders right at the outdoor seating outside with their boss in a suit yelling at them. If you didn't see the signs you'd mistaken the whole restuarant/carport as a derelict shop...
Read moreApparently they’re not aware what are phones and they don’t seem to bother to check that they’ve been called 12 times due to being unable to edit my order on Uber thus I immediately called the store to try to tell them I was allergic to a specific ingredient. They never picked up the phone so as a customer I had to go over and beyond and call up other nearby Oporto stores hoping they had a manager’s or staff’s phone number but they didn’t, at least they knew how to pick up the phone on the first try. Had to get my own Uber Eats delivery driver to call me when she arrived and I spoke to the employee through the driver’s phone… the young lady seemed to not care by blandly saying “oh sorry” as if it explained why they never picked up the phone.
