Walked in at 3:45pm staff chatting to each other and having a laugh. Went to tables by the window and all 5 tables had dishes or needed wiping over, interesting priorities đ€ Looking around the cafe 40% of the tables were empty and needed clearing and cleaning. My friend arrived and we ordered coffee. Me a flat white and the other a cappuccino. My "flat" white was 30% foam! Obviously the word "flat" means nothing here. So what's the difference between a flat white and a cappuccino? The sprinkle on top? The cappuccino was identical to my flat white except for the topping. One can tell they close at 5pm as all kicks in at 4:30pm because its almost home time!! they now decide to clean the tables... plates dropped and cutlery dropped on the floor as they hurriedly whisk around... tables and chairs positioned with deadly noise.
This was not my first visit however each time the above is the same... I do identify a person that seems to be management however no active interaction with the team.. seems all is automated on a timeline. Some serious things need to be addressed at...

Of the 10 free tables, only 1 was clean enough to sit at (perhaps due to the very young staff being too busy giggling with each other behind the counter and running in and out of the back room making fake retching sounds and saying âoh my godâ about something - always a good sign)
To top things off my partner sat in some purple icing that was left on a chair that has left a stain on his favourite shorts. How hard is it to spray and wipe a table when you have that many staff on and only two...

It was nobody's job to clean them. It looked like we were having our morning treats on a garbage tip. We had to ask them to come and clean. They came and cleaned tables on one side and left those on another still dirty. There was a table in a corner of the cafe with dirty cups staying there all the time that we spent in the cafe. It was obvious that they need a bos there, or if there is one, then they need a better one. I just want the cafes in our main street to look presentable.
