Pista House Harris Park — Restaurant in Sydney

I rated Food 1 star, if it had a negative, I'd give it. Service: 4 stars, cz lady at reception was fairly professional, np with that. And atmosphere, it was my first and last visit there. I'm a damn often visitor at Lakemba Pista House & the staff there, the brothers are very friendly there and everytime, I exceptionally enjoy the food or takeaway, but today I was at Haris Park, thought Pista house would be same as Lakemba, but damn, I damn cant tell how bad the food was. Everytime, I eat or takeaway at Lakemba Pista House, its awesome atmosphere and fresh food there everytime, but this branch, Oh Lord, damn it, it sucks, the shoo was Ok cz I didnt eat, I take away the food, and when I eat it after getting home, the taste was like f'k'n got a week old biryani and the meat pieces were all almost burnt like sometimes they get burnt over when they are cooked if they remain on surface of pot, they were side burnt meat pieces and horrible biryani, Im f'k'n shocked to oay 20 dollars, and fortunately I bought 2, now wasted 40, there was a plastic piece like a polythene bag piece in the rice of biryani that was hidden in it, like I dont know the f'k how they cook it, exceptionally bad and damnwasted 40 bucks. I f'kn will not come again. Pista House Lakemba is good, if you want to eat, go there, I made mistake by going here thinking it would be same...

Looks decent from outside, of course they have a good biriyani but it’s not consistent. It doesn’t taste the same all the time or mostly lacks taste and chicken is too chewy at times and mutton is undercooked. I have been to multiple branches of pista house, the ambience of the place is okay but it’s too congested. Not for family audience. Not much options for vegetarians and even tea doesn’t taste consistent ( some days good and some days watery and too much of sugar). Customer service is poor and of course they have excuses readily made for all the questions.

Last time when I went, I went their with friends family and after we order food and waited for half an hour, the waiter turns up and says only 1 veg biriyani is left ( we had ordered 3 and he didn’t mention then) and he would get us that; again in another 15 mins he says they have given it to someone by mistake.

Kids were hungry and this was disappointing; I would not go here ever again Poor customer service and poor food quality and...

The food of this place is very good. But the customer service of here is the worst. Yesterday I went there with few of my friends and there was this one woman taking our order around 9:22 PM. She was so rude to us while taking our order. We had a scenario that we already explained to her that 3 of us will order but will pay separately. It is so simple to understand right? She suddenly yelled at us and said that, “ Then say it straight don’t confuse me!” With a high tone which we didn’t like at all. We didn’t even want to eat there after that but as we already paid so changed our mind. Then after that things didn’t end there. She again yelled with two other customers where the customers were just confused about the seat they are supposed to seat so they sat at a place. And she suddenly comes up and says, “ I said you to seat here in this table right!” which was totally not a way a employee should deliver her service to a customer.
