My daughter attended Reggio Emilia Daycare for over a year, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The centre and its staff exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that everyone at the daycare was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about working with children.

The educators took great care and effort to plan and execute various engaging activities for the kids, making each day exciting and enriching. They also ensured parents were actively involved by hosting numerous events that we loved attending. My daughter absolutely adored her preschool time here and looked forward to it every day.

The facility itself is fantastic—spacious and equipped with a large play area that allows the children plenty of room to run around and play. This was especially important to us as it encouraged physical activity and exploration in a safe environment.

As a parent of a picky eater, I was particularly impressed with how attentive the educators were during mealtimes. They made sure my daughter ate at least one serving, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also appreciated the frequency of food offerings; during my visits at different times of the day, there was always something nutritious available for the children.

Special recognition goes to Georgia and Simmi, whose dedication and care truly stood out. Georgia, an educator, was phenomenal with the kids and always made learning fun. Simmi, on the admin team, consistently went above and beyond to assist with any questions or requests. Their support made our experience even more delightful.

My son started going there at 16months of age and its been 2.5 months since he started going to Reggio Emilia, Cowper St branch. Before enrolling him, I saw many negative feedbacks about this child care and was skeptical about enrolling him here but after visiting the facility and talking to their care providers, I was quite happy. Now after 2.5 months, I can surely say that it is one of the best day care in the area. Special thanks and appreciation to my son’s care providers - Ms Hasna, Ms Gunja, Ms Anjula. They take utmost care of children and try their best to settle the child in the initial days. They also help children to inculcate good eating and sleeping habits, my son has started to eat most of his meals on his own, his sleep patterns have improved a lot due to a good schedule.

About other things, food provided to children is good and healthy. Every Monday morning we get the food menu for the whole week, Milk is also included in the diet. They don’t force feed the child which ultimately promotes in good eating habits and encourage child to self feed. There is no fixed schedule for all children in which everyone has to fit in, they cater the needs of every child and allow them sufficient time to adjust in the daycare environment. They never force any child to do something against their wish. Daily some new activities are planned to keep children entertained and at the same time helps them to learn/develop new skills. They have an open area as well with lots of swings and other activities. Administration team is also good and helpful.

Inside the center is well maintained and carers were nice. Many carers called most kids by their names which I thought was great. Outside playground was large and always kept clean. But good news ends just there. I'm not convinced about how personalized their service was towards each kid because the center is pretty crowded. Imagine 200 kids in one place. When I went to pick my kids up, it was always chaotic. Kids would be in a complete different room or play area hence I often ended up running around calling my kids names (carers would tell you 'I saw them there, I saw them here 5 minutes ago' bla bla.) I couldn't help but wondering 'how easy is it to miss a child in this place'. Is there any security code to enter the place? None. It certainly looked like anyone could walk in to this place at a busy time, grab a child and walk away without being noticed.. Management was nicer during the enrolment however things got bitter when I wanted to take my kids out. Beware, they want you to notify them 4 weeks before; and they will charge you for those 4 weeks of course (Note that most of the other day care services notice period is only two weeks) Beware, even after notifying them in writing (which they acknowledged), they'd still want you to fill up a form. Which I did, however I couldn't send it until following day. And they charged me for an additional day for it.. Now that is beyond ridiculous. Obvious these guys put 'money' in front of the 'service'. I would definitely hesitate to put my kids in such a care with such management attitudes.
