My partner and I ordered two pizzas from the Willoughby Pizza Hut. We ordered ‘Butchers Block’ and ‘Mega Meatlovers’. When we picked up our order we discovered that the pizzas were exactly the same and both were missing their relevant sauce ( BBQ Sauce & Hollandaise Sauce). Moreover, in one box there was a ‘ranch dressing tub’. Due to our concerns we called the relevant store.
When speaking to the manager they told us that the ‘hollandaise sauce’ had been out of stock for 6 months. Thus, they provided a side of ‘ranch sauce’.
We then asked the manager, why we had not been informed of that before the pizzas were made (e.g. via a phone call); so as that we could be provided with another pizza option. Additionally, we asked the manager about why we were not informed when picking up the pizza.
In response to our reasonable query’s the manager got aggressive and defensive (yelling over the phone). The manager stated to us, that they ‘have been doing this for 6 months and no one has complained, so there is no problem’. Moreover they ‘don’t have the time to call every person who orders Butchers Block to inform them that they are out of stock of Hollandaise.
Recognising that the situation was escalating, we told the manager that we understood their actions. However, we believed it was not appropriate and would like to come to a mutual agreed resolution. At that point the manager, once again, told us that it was our fault and they did not have to solve ‘anything’
Ultimately Willoughby Pizza Hut, took no responsibility for their failure to provide the adequate and reasonable goods & services. Furthermore, they took no action in attempt to alleviate any of our concerns, but rather dismissed and rejected our query.

I had a terrible experience with this store and caught the manager in a lie. He tried to keep my money after promicing refund.
I placed a $54 order on the 6th — everything arrived burnt and one dessert had a finger-shaped dent in it. I called, and the store manager promised a full refund, saying it would take two days. Nothing arrived. When I called again on the 11th, he told me it could take up to five days and said he’d check and message me back, but never did.
I contacted Pizza Hut customer service and was told no refund had ever been issued by the store!! They processed it immediately from their end, and the refund appeared in my PayPal account within seconds — proving the manager had never sent it as twice claimed.
This felt very dishonest and left me feeling like the manager tried to steal from me. Completely...

We ended up giving up and ordering Domino’s instead. By the time food arrived half our guests had left because they had small children. This was why we pre-ordered for the food to arrive early in the first place.
I called the following day to find out what had happened and the obnoxious and rude manager tried to say that I had not ordered the food until 10 pm. This was not true and was confirmed by the contact centre who were able to refund my money.
I was told that the owner would get in touch with me after I tried to complain about the managers Rude and arrogant attitude. Needless to say, I never heard anything back.
