I’m so happy my friend introduced me to this gorgeous cafe, with authentic Italian food, so fresh and tasty! We arrived at midday and enjoyed warm friendly service and an increasing buzz of atmosphere as the place gradually filled up for lunch in the high-ceilinged sunlight room at the back. We shared the Mortadella which was cooked to perfection, a lovely fresh chicken salad, an arancini ball which was just the way you’d want it…light and crispy on the outside and soft and warmed right through on the inside. The Dubai Chocolate cupcake desert was like nothing I’ve ever experienced and we savoured every mouthful! The Prosciutto focaccia was also great — the focaccia was nicely toasted and paired well with the cheese and prosciutto, though I felt the toasting slightly overpowered the softer ingredients inside. Overall, Red Lenny’s has strong bread and great sandwich foundations; with a bit more refinement on fillings, it could easily be one of Sydney’s top...
