I went in to collect an order that I placed online. The lady who saw me through the kitchen asked me who I am picking up for and I told my name and then she asked if I have a hot bag. I had to explain again that I was picking up an online order that I placed for myself. Only then it hit me that she was stereotyping. She immediately assumed I was an Uber driver and I felt that it was because I was brown. For a customer someone would have to start with ‘what can I get for you’ or something within that lines not assume that I am picking up for someone. Secondly the way she spoke when she assumed I was a delivery guy and when she realized I wasn’t was also different. Thirdly I picked up the food on the way home to sydney and only when I got there I realized that my burger was wrong. I left a review on the app and asked them to email me as there was an option to either email or call. However, I still received a call in the morning amidst work but I still wanted to communicate the issue I had. The person who spoke said that the person was on her third shift and wasn’t racist, she works with multicultural people within the store and she has nothing against black people. Firstly, I didn’t tell that she was being racist, I told her that she was stereotyping. The person who called me failed to understand my concern and she put the conversation in a way that I felt like I was wrong to assume all of this. Assumption or not the experience was bad as the food that I paid for and the service altogether was bad. I have no intention of escalating this as I usually enjoy red rooster, but the call in the morning pissed me off more. The person did not even apologize, well it makes sense that she probably didn’t need to as she thinks that the person didn’t do anything wrong. Came in got a burger box each and sat down to open burgers sunken deeper in sauce than you'd find the Titanic under water. And tiny wing piece in every meal.
When I went to the counter to raise the issues. Staff shrugged at me. So I asked for the burger to be remade and the pieces at least changed to legs.
I was strictly told the burger would be remade however wings are only used in boxed meals as 1 wing was begrudgingly swapped. (No gloves no tongs and the piece I'd just had at my table shuved back into the warmer). A massive breach in food safety right there.
Got my burger given too me, I opened it the burger was colder than my ex's shoulder, I mean burger bun refrigerated at least. At this stage I was over the entire ordeal and just wanted a refund so I asked to speak to the manager. 80 in the shade she listened to the team member about my complaint, shrugged her shoulders and refused to even speak to us.
We packed up to leave and the team member lauchlan and Janette the manager began mimicking us and poking fun as we left.
Trust me this is not a safe place to eat or a family place. It's a bitter cold and unsafe place to eat with contamination concerns with the lack of gloves or utensils being used. Plus the return of previously served food to the warmers I'm only left to wonder what else is returned to the warmer and what state it's in.

We were served by a young man named Lucas we only knew his name as the staff clocked off for the day and said goodbye so now we can acknowledge the young man who served us with the best customer service ever! Very patient and also well mannered. We didn't ask for table service but he delivered everyone's food to their table. My daughter was thinking the same she's like mum how nice is he taking everyone's food to their tables and we had to write a review. It is also very clean and has a children's colouring corner which my daughter begged to go there before we leave. I believe this will be our go-to take away when feeling like take out. The food was amazingly fresh!!! Everything was piping hot (just how I like) fresh and chefs kiss. Seasoning was beautiful balanced as I don't like too much salt but it was on point. I ordered 1 Rippa box and also cheesy nuggets. The prices are fair but best of all the quality and service tops it off. Thank you again Red Rooster...
