Let me articulate my late night rant.
I do apologize how that came out.
I want to acknowledge a short and rude outburst that occurred. It stemmed from a traumatic experience I had at your cafe— something that triggered a strong emotional reaction in the moment. While it doesn’t excuse my behaviour, I hope it offers some context. I understand how it may have come across and I’m sorry for how it unfolded.
It wasn't aimed to be racist.
I hope this message finds you well.
I’m reaching out to share some honest feedback regarding a recent experience I had when attempting to purchase coffee beans at your store. Unfortunately, I was met with dismissive and condescending behavior from one of your male staff members, who appeared to be of Asian background. While I don’t know his name, I’m mentioning this only to help identify him, as I believe it’s important this feedback reaches the right person.
The attitude displayed came across as though he felt above serving customers, and it left a poor impression—one that unfortunately seems to echo what I’ve heard from others in the past, both through word of mouth and in various Google reviews referencing rude or unwelcoming service.
Respect and professionalism should never be compromised, no matter how progressive or “woke” a business aims to appear. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and appreciation, not brushed off or made to feel lesser.
I’m sharing this not to stir trouble, but because I believe in honest communication and giving businesses a chance to reflect and improve. I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive...

I made it on time to the Sample Coffee Pro Shop. Whatever PRO stands for, the espresso bar of this beautiful artisanal roastery is absolutely stunning.
It is located in an old-new factory 🏭 building that has been beautifully renovated. You will also find a brewery, or design and furniture shops next to the roastery.
The interior design is simple and minimalistic: exposed concrete, tiles, wooden tables and chair 🪑. I especially like the high ceiling with the industrial lights hanging down.
Today I enjoyed two beautiful coffees from Africa: a Si for origin espresso from Rwanda 🇷🇼 and a filter coffee from Ethiopia 🇪🇹. There are many beautiful coffee, architecture and design magazines to read on the tables.
You should definitely also have a look 👀 into the roastery: you will spot two roasters… guess which one is my favorite. I was also very tempted to take the Yamaha motorcycle 🏍 for a ride… fortunately I behaved.
This place is another great example of how you can turn a simple coffee place into an experience and combine architecture, industrial design, interior design...
Read moreA very hidden and understated coffee shop from outside. Nice and chill vibe after entering through door, like the colour scheme of the decor. There is plenty of different seating options to offer for customers with different needs.
A good and nice range of merchants: T-shirts,sweaters, cups, specialty chocolates, coffee beans, and brewing equipments.
Brekkie roll is enjoyable and everything feels right.
The Ecuador washed espresso may not be its 100% (personal preference and understand each cup can be affected by many aspects) - cannot feel much on the nose except the usual smoky or roasted profile on darker roast, ‘complex’ and a not very clean aftertaste.
Filter coffee is poured by machine - understand that machine can ensure consistency but personally I don’t mind and willing to trust the barista’s decision on the spot for how this coffee should be brewed. The coffee this time is a safe presentation with a relatively watery ratio. But again this is personally preference, specialty coffee is not about right or wrong.
Tasting events sound fun and respect on promoting...
