Never got a chance to try the food as there was no staff present when I walked in to the empty restaurant. So I scanned the QR code for online ordering and sat down to order my meal. As I was inputting my card number a staff member came out from the back and started shouting and clapping at me. Staff member asked rudely "can I help you?", I said "no" and continued my order. She then asked, "so you are just sitting there?". I showed her my phone and said I am ordering. At that point I said, "but not any more" and walked out without ordering. Absolutely disgusting customer service from an already struggling restaurant that was empty at lunch time. I'm expecting that the owner will post a defensive, passive aggressive reply to this comment as he/she has to all the other negative comments posted on this restaurant. They have obviously worked out that when they reply to a review, the reviewer is unable to reply to the response. That's just how Google reviews work. Let me say this, if your restaurant is successful and provides good food and service, you do not care about a few bad reviews because a good restaurant owner knows you can't please everyone. But when you have to compulsively reply aggressively to every bad review, that means the business is failing and the owner is clinging to any hope that they will be able to turn it around by trying to discredit ay bad reviews. Edit to respond : It’s funny how you jump to personal attacks instead of taking responsibility for how your staff treats delivery drivers. My review had nothing to do with your food — it was about the lack of respect repeatedly shown to Uber Eats drivers.
I actually have multiple video recordings from my smart glasses showing how your staff behaves with delivery drivers — not just with me, but with many others too. I’d be more than happy to share them publicly (faces blurred, of course) so everyone can see what “respect” looks like in your restaurant.
