Spit Roast Shop Kirribilli — Restaurant in Sydney

Lived in Milsons Point for 6 months now and always saw this shop but never went in. Recently they’ve ran a “Family Pack” deal for dinner @ $29.90. I guess the promotion ended yesterday as they changed the advertisement today… the day I finally decided to go in. Mentioned that I came in for the special and even though it ended yesterday the gentleman was very kind enough to honour it. On top, the food was sensational for the price. Fries are a replica of Maccas, Wholesome Chicken and a great Greek Salad… portions to feed a family of 3-4 well. Hopefully the family deal comes back, if so I can definitely see us doing take away once a week here!...

Ventured down to Milsons Point to see an event and stumbled upon the Spit Roast Shop at Kirribilli. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were fairly reasonable. A chili chicken roll combo was $17.00 and was offered to add tomato / cheese on. I added cheese for an extra 70 cents. Food was ready within a few minutes and I was fairly satisfied. Chips were seasoned nicely. Maybe could have been cooked a little longer but overall not too bad. The chilli chicken roll was quite nice. The bread was quite soft and the chicken was fresh and tasty. My twin sister and I got severe food poisoning from this place. The beef was so raw that the redness/blood leaked onto the bread and made the bread soggy and red. We got both the chicken and then the beef each in a bread roll. It was hard because I wanted to love this place! Iconic cheap priced sandwiches with a bit of meat and salad. Staff friendly and was keen to try their burgers while at the markets. But my god, the diarrhoea and stomach pains were something else. Lasted a whole 24 hours. My body had to eject that stuff ASAP....
