Fantastic little cafe where the food and drinks are amazing. I had the Pytt I Panna (Swedish Bubble and Squeak) which was absolutely amazing. It was aromatic, with a great meddling of potatoes, sausage and bacon topped with a fried egg bringing it all together. With a side of mini pickles and beetroot to add a new layer to the flavour was divine. Would definitely come back to eat again!!
The drinks were also fantastic. I am always on the hunt for a good Chai Latte and their sticky chai hit the spot. With a twist of honey, and a perfect blend of spices, it hit the spot. The chocolate milkshake was exactly what you wanted from a chocolate milkshake, it wasn’t too rich, but perfectly light with a good level of chocolate malt flavour.
A great little cafe in a good location! However, the small cafe lends to slower service, and initially the staff didn’t acknowledge us when we entered. But they quickly cleaned up a table for us and were very lovely after this, with the wait staff seeming passionate about the menu, something that’s always good to see and the mark of a good cafe/restaurant. In the end, would...
Read moreExcellent coffee and tea (and yummy breakfast food)! We had just gotten off a long plane ride, tired but excited to start our Australian holiday, when we wandered into Oski Cafe. Owner/chef/barista Eric warmly greeted us. Long story short, we came back every morning for the rest of our stay in Sydney (6 days!). Not only was the coffee and tea great (we had cappuccinos, flat whites, and chai lattes--all fantastic--and the kids had hot chocolate--also great), but the vibe of the place is really special. Eric is a class act and when he wasn't too busy (and sometimes even when he was), happily chatted with us and gave us recommendations for things to do and see in town. He learned our names quickly and clearly goes out of his way to get to know his other patrons. Eric greeted most people by name and knew their order. It was fun to watch the community interactions in the cafe. We felt truly appreciated and part of the community at Oski Cafe. So, highly recommend for great food/drink, but especially the warm community atmosphere away from the touristy...
Read moreCute small cafe in Kirribilli that seats 15-20pax with some of the tables being outside.
We enjoyed the food which was "I can't believe it's not avo" and the smoked salmon bagel however the service could have been better.
We didn't feel the service was as attentive as it could've been for such a small business with two people working on the floor, considering that's no more than a maximum of 10 seated customers each.
We had to ask to order from the lady twice, then for a drink when it didn't come out, and we were given warm water in hot plastic cups and all the other tables had been served water bottles. When we did get given a water bottle, the man poured some of it for another table and then firmly placed half full water bottle on our table and walked off.
It was an enjoyable meal however I'm not sure it was worth waiting 45 minutes for it. We were initially told it would be 20-25mins.
I would rate the food 4 and the service 3.
Would be willing ti try it again as maybe they...
