Grace of India is a family run business in Milsons Point that has been providing the community with quality North Indian cusine for 24 years. The service is friendly and welcoming with many of their diners return guests, some who have been returning since they opened 24 years ago. Grace of India has indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant decorated to theme with Indian inspired artwork.

They run a seasonal menu using fresh ingredients. To start one of our favourite parts of indian dining, the Papadams and a range of condiments including pickles, chutney and raita

Sweet chilli mushrooms a tasty vegetarian option. The chicken malai tikka was delicious a nice spice and very succulent.

We shared the lamb saagwala and the butter chicken. Both curries were on point, the meat tender and sauce full of flavour. Naan a must, the garlic naan was perfect for soaking up the curry sauce.

We also tried some cool desserts both very photogenic and a good counter to the spices of the curries. The gulab jamun, sweet condensed milk and pistachio dumplings served in rose syrup. We also had my go to indian dessert, the mango kulfi. Like a mango weiss bar, the Grace of India version looked pretty on the playe and bonus it was loaded with chocolate honey comb and coconut.

A quality Indian on the north side of the bridge. Any restaurant in business for 24 years has to be doing it right, Grace of India has the right recepie of Quality food and...

4.NAAN NAAN NAAN out of 5.

The Grace of India in Kirribilli provides an outstanding dining experience, combining authentic Indian flavors with impeccable service. My recent visit was truly memorable.

The evening started with a Vegetable Samosa, which was delightfully crisp and filled with perfectly spiced vegetables—an ideal appetizer to kick off the meal. The Tandoori Paneer Tikka was another highlight, featuring tender paneer marinated and cooked to perfection in the tandoor, delivering a smoky and flavorful bite.

For the mains, the Mughlai Malai Kofta stood out with its rich, creamy sauce that paired beautifully with the soft, flavorful kofta balls. Additionally, their special dish, Lamb Afghani, was a revelation. This dish featured tender lamb infused with delicate saffron flavors, creating a luxurious and aromatic experience that showcased the restaurant's expertise in crafting unique dishes. The meal was complemented by freshly made Tandoori Roti and Naan, which were soft and perfect for scooping up the delicious sauces.

The ambiance of Grace of India was warm and inviting, making it an excellent choice for both casual dining and special occasions.

The attentive staff ensured we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout...

A year ago, we celebrated one of the most special days of our lives — our civil ceremony — with a lunch at Lavendra Indian, and it turned out to be more than just a meal. It was an experience full of warmth, kindness, and unforgettable flavors. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such genuine hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make our day feel personal and meaningful. We still talk about the food — every dish was rich, fragrant, and made with so much care. You could taste the love in every bite.

That day, we also met Santokh Singh, and what a gift that was. His gentle presence, professionalism, and gracious spirit left such a lasting impression on us. A year has passed, and we often find ourselves reminiscing not only about the food, but the people — the connection, the care, the joy.

Since then, we’ve been to many restaurants, but none have come close to the heart and soul we experienced at Lavendra and Grace Indian. If you’re looking for more than just a good meal — if you want to feel something real — this is the place.

We’re still so grateful. Thank you, uncle ji and the whole team, for giving us a memory we’ll always hold close.

The BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN WHOLE...

Grace of India is nothing short of a gem. From the moment you step through the doors, the warmth of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is beautifully curated, offering traditional Indian. Each plate is bursting with authentic flavour, crafted with care, and presented elegantly. The balance of spices is impeccable—rich, aromatic, and layered in a way that shows real mastery in the kitchen. The service is attentive without ever being intrusive, with staff more than happy to guide you through the menu. The ambiance blends sophistication with comfort. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner, a special occasion, or entertaining guests, Grace of India makes the experience feel elevated yet relaxed. In short: a standout restaurant that delivers on every level—food, service, and atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine, or simply enjoys dining at its finest.

I really wanted to like it, passing by the restaurant every time I exit Milson's point train station on my way home. We invited our friend Grace (nice coincidence, we thought) for dinner here. It was outright disappointing. First we had to work hard to even get recognized by the staff, then a cockroach entered our table - just to be gracefully swept to the ground by our waitress - to continue with its life at the restaurant. Finally, Grace puled a hair out of her curry. The rest of the experience became almost irrelevant. The food was OK, but not exceptional. Having lived in Dubai for a decade, we have been exposed to a lot of Indian cuisine. This one was nothing special. It's a shame as it is the neighborhood option to satisfy our craving for aromatic Indian food. But given the lack of hygiene at the front of house, I don't want to imagine how the kitchen looks like...
