T8STE DEEZ — Restaurant in Sydney

Saw this place heaps on social media and thought me and my mates would give it a go. Checked out the Google reviews before coming, they looked great, so we thought we were in for a great time. Boy oh boy were we wrong. We were the only people who ordered (group of 4), yet the first meal didn't come out until almost 20 minutes later. I don't mind waiting for food at all, but if I'm waiting this long, I'd hope my food would be hot and tasty. It managed to be neither of those things. The food was lukewarm, and don't get me started on the taste. The fries had this sickeningly sweet seasoning, and were definitely overcooked, they were not soft on the inside at all. I understand shoestring fries tend to be on the crunchier side, but these were well beyond that. The meat is definitely of a lower quality, lacked any flavour or seasoning, and was very dry. We are all quite big eaters, yet none of us got close to finishing our meals. Definitely would not be back, there are so many better burger places that are cheaper, better quality, while still being halal (Feel Good Burgers, Burger Heist, etc) would definitely recommend giving this place a miss, don't fall for the TikTok trap...

As someone who doesn’t often have high expectations for food trucks, this is possibly the best one I have been too , it’s definitely raised the bar for the best special sauce in Sydney , the burgers are spot on and made to perfection , you think regular fries are good? Wait until you have had beef tallow fried fries once dip it in the special sauce I guarantee you that it’ll have you coming back for more, this is definitely someplace I’d be recommending my friends and family too, what’s even better than great food? Great staff ,everyone is awesome and made me and my family feel welcomed, thank you guys will definitely be coming back...

This is without exaggeration the best burger & fries I've had in years. Fries are cooked in beef tallow, burger in ghee, everything tastes fresh, natural and absolutely divine.

I tried their house sauce and it was delicious - tangy and sweet.

And the staff are very friendly and helpful!

They are everything the classic fast food restaurants of the american early 1900's aspired to be and have lost.

The atmosphere is a 3 but that's not their fault, it's the location in the centre. I wish that part of the centre had a bit more invested into it.
