The Coffee Club - Norwest Business Park — Restaurant in Sydney

Been here twice now and both times it’s been disappointing.

This is one of those places where the pictures of the food are not even close to what you get.

The picture of the steak sandwich shows a thick piece of medium rare steak, but what I got was a thin minute steak that was tough and over cooked.

I decided to get the buffalo wings on my next visit, listed on the menu as being made with Franks hot sauce and a side of creamy slaw. I ordered 12 and was brought 6. They also added a leafy salad instead of the slaw. Also, the picture makes them look saucy - the way buffalo wings should be - but mine came dry with no trace of Franks sauce. They were extremely salty too. As they messed up my order I had to wait for another 6 to come later. After paying the bill, I noticed that they charged for 2 serves of 6 instead of the 12 I requested; which ends up being an extra $8. Couldn’t be bothered going back and certainly won’t be returning to eat here again.

I ordered the Chicken ceaser burger and chips through Uber Eats. The first thing I noticed when it was delivered was that the bag wasn't taped shut, and the travel container the food was packed in wasn't even shut properly, only held closed with a toothpick, so the first thing that came to mind was "Did the delivery driver pick at my food?". I then went to eat my food. The burger, however, was in pieces, as if it was just thrown in there. The chicken was so charred that all I could taste and smell was burnt food. I could only get about a third of the way through until I gave up because I simply couldn't taste anything else. I am going to say this is a disappointment because I have always genuinely enjoyed food from The Coffee Club. But I will no longer be getting food from here. This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened, and it is not worth the twenty or so dollars they charge for their meals. Been here twice, both bad experiences. I went at dinner time both times for dinner with a friend, and both times waited over 50 minutes for a simple meal like a burger. The staff took forever to take our order, the chef was over worked having to cook meals for the whole place and it looked like there was no one in the kitchen to help him. The staff were very rude when we asked them how our meals were progressing they just kept saying soon. When the meals finally were put up on the counter by the chef, they were left there for over 5 minutes. I had to eventually get up and collect my own meal and when i did they gave a look of disgust. Upon paying, they continued to be very rude and seemed like they didn't care a bit about customer service, no hello, now how was your meal, no sorry about the delay, just utter rude people.
