Extremely expensive for lack lustre evening. Only given one menu between two of us? Is there a shortage? Restaurant was quiet with only a few patrons. Seated at a table set for three, Third place setting never cleared. Staff lacked experience and wandered around like it was a bistro. Table laminate peeling off and blu tack used to try and stick down. Food and drinks took a very long time to come out considering it wasn’t that busy. Garlic bread served without any side plates, had to request them. Steak served without a steak knife, had to request that too. The next lady to receive a steak had to request her steak knife too. Husband’s beer ran out, he had to flag someone down to get another drink which does happen in other establishments but there was enough staff walking around to be asking patrons. The restaurant was pretty dead and not well lit when we got there. We weren't even sure it was open at all. Ordered our mains; the person in charge recommended the rib-eye ($57) to my partner and I ordered a pork cutlet ($42) with some vegetables as a side.

The sides were not bad but the rib eye and pork cutlet were EXTREMELY dry! For it's price, you'd expect an edible food. The steak was barely edible but the pork cutlet was horribly dry and it was so hard, I could barely chew it. They offered to get us new ones, but we had other plans for the night.

As an apology, they took of the two drinks from our bill, which barely covered the two mains! Sure, appreciated it but, having to pay for the remainder $130 for the meals we barely ate and did not enjoy one bit is horribly disappointing to...

We visited Rebellion Bar and Grill as part of a voucher from scoopon. It was an pleasant experience with a delicious meal and attentive service. We shared a pork belly entree, which was succulent and sweet, a main of lamb and one of steak which was cooked to perfection. Dessert was one sticky date pudding and one apple crumble with salted caramel ice cream which was the tastiest and most delightful thing i have put in my mouth.
