The last time I was at this venue was when I was still dancing salsa and performed –that was many years ago.  This time I was back to celebrate a very good friend’s Hen’s evening.  The Hen’s package was awesome.  It included a burlesque class (I wouldn’t consider it burlesque – but it was nice enough), followed by life drawing, cocktail making, dinner, male review and a drag queen host.  Everything that our Bride-To-Be wanted for her Bachelorette evening. Most of the host for each category were very nice and accommodating.  You can tell that they do actually enjoy their respective roles. However, at the beginning when we entered the premises, the Bride-To-Be’s future mother-in-law was being refused entry because she did not bring her ID with her.  The person at the door had the audacity to suggest that they should go back to their hotel “since it was close” to get her ID.  None of us looked underage. None of us look intoxicated at 3.30pm! For the Male Review, I noticed that the younger men focused more on the younger women.  I think that they should not be so selective to which bride-to-be they pay attention on.  I think that each Bride-To-Be needs to have equal attention in the evening.  Why do I (and some of the girls in our group) have to point to the Bride-To-Be so that she can get some attention? The food was ok. Although the Cabbage salad looked more like “iceberg lettuce with potato” salad.  The mini Vegetarian pizza was not favourable. Falafel was extremely dry. The chicken and lamb skewer were yummy! They were moist and a good size. The Roast potato that came with the main was so sour, it tasted more like pickled potatoes than roast potato.  The rice delicious, but the serving was so small, it barely met two mouthful. The Drag Queen was funny, engaging and entertaining.  Although we waited for a while for her to come out, I think it was worth the wait.  It was a nice way to end the evening.

The Mediterranean Sydney is your old style retro function room. It’s not very accessible due to the steep stairway from the street. I attended a Mamma Mia/ABBA themed event which was a lot of fun. We had to follow strict COVID-19 regulations with social distancing and no dancing rules which is totally understandable these days. We were offered a Greek mezze style dinner with lots of food brought to the table but it was all prepackaged frozen food that wasn’t great.

HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend this venue! Im not one for reviews but this place deserves it! I've been to a few of the same style evenings and this is hands down the best place i have attended! We did the Ultimate Hens Package and it was FANTASTIC. Burlesque dancing is not something i would have considered doing but it was so much fun and i cant wait to do this dance routine at my sisters wedding 😂 The Nude drawing was my favourite activity! Marco was not only a site for sore eyes but he also had a great personality and a very enjoyable sense of humour. We spent the entire class laughing with him. The cocktail making class was also very funny and enjoyable with very attractive and friendly men. Our food was exceptionally tasty and there was plenty of it! My favourite part about the overall experience was the topless waiters/strippers who were all very kind, friendly and weren't sleezy in the slightest. They also did not expect any additional money which often is the case when ive attended other venues! By the end of the night everyone including the topless waiters were up on the dance floor dancing like we were mates from way back. We will definitely be back in the future! Well done to everyone at The Med and thank you for such an enjoyable,...

Men in Uniform - Hens Night - in Feb 2016: noise, slow food, expensive drinks, more noise... there was so much distortion from the speakers that it was often not possible to understand the MC. Some people laughed and cheered at the jokes, so the audio problems probably varied depended on where you were sitting. Our table was in front of the audio control console. Drinks were expensive, and without lots of alcohol, the acts were not terribly interesting, sexy or funny. The dance choreography and execution was worse than third round amateurs on So You Think You Can Dance. I might have enjoyed it if the sound system had not been so abusive for so many hours. Not everyone who walked up the stairs at the beginning was sober enough to walk back down the long staircase to Oxford Street without falling. There is a hand rail but that was not always enough to prevent...
