The Smelly Cheesecake Eastwood — Restaurant in Sydney

Eastwood Koreatown has a surprising number of cafés and supermarkets. It really feels unique in that way. Sure, each place has its own vibe, its own sales and competition, but when you see about six different supermarkets and just as many cafés all in one area—it really stands out.

Honestly, I didn’t expect Smelly Cheesecake Cafe to open in Eastwood. I went there with a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable it was. The coffee wasn’t bad either. I was especially surprised by how large the kitchen was. And when we went upstairs—wow!

I'm a big café lover, so I write a lot of reviews. Some places are just too noisy with everyone talking loudly, and sometimes the space is so cramped that it feels uncomfortable. But this café had plenty of room, which made it a relaxing place to hang out with a friend. No need to constantly move your seat or worry about people brushing past you.

They’re even open in the evenings, which is great. The customer service could use a bit of improvement, but I think I’ll be going there often...

I come here often. In general they have a good coffee and good cake options. Cheese cakes are better than any other cake options for me.

But probably not the best pastry options they have. The worst kouign-amann I’ve ever had. 🫢 Requested to heat up kouign-amann which is ’pastry‘ and It was microwaved. Gee…. Super soggy and bad taste. I felt like it was baked and kept in the fridge for a day and displayed again. It was that kind of bad taste.

It‘s quite spacious, clean and open till late. Air conditioned. Can park your car on the street easy, or free parkings for 2 hrs nearby. Many young ppl spend time here with their laptop, yet no power point is available...

Came here couple times for coffee and bagel, I bring my daughter this time for cheesecake as well as I thought it a lovely place but I was wrong! Absolutely disappointing experience, ordered many things for dine in but when I was just asking for wifi password for my some of my work, they refused and ran away said they don’t have when it clearly show their network available and many Korean customers at other tables all on their laptop using internet 😒 guess cos I’m not speaking Korean 🙄 what kind of cafe not providing wifi for customers with purchase. Won’t come again next time. Truly feel...
