The food here truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Sri Lankan chicken curry that came with rice, and it was absolutely outstanding. The chicken was incredibly tender, almost melting in my mouth with every bite, and the curry itself was so rich, fragrant, and perfectly spiced. The flavors blended beautifully with the rice, making it a very comforting and satisfying dish. I also tried the Indian fish curry, which was another highlight of the meal. The curry had a lovely tangy and slightly sour note that worked so well with the fish. It was flavorful without being overpowering, and the fish was cooked just right soft, juicy, and soaking up all the goodness of the sauce. Both dishes showed authenticity and great care in preparation. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was inviting. If you’re looking for delicious, hearty curries in a relaxed pub setting, the Victory Hotel is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Popped into the Vic tonight - A local spot, en route back to our rental. Lots of screens! Betting and gambling available. Several Australian beers on tap., will research how many are local? A complete lunch and dinner menu listed on walls, the cook apparently makes a wonderful curry. We did not eat. The female toilet was out of order. The hot toddie was delish. Weak “beer garden” - plastic greenery attached to walls and lots of smoky smell. Glad we stopped in. I went back for lunch a week later and enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese. It was hearty, tasty and a nice serving .

Batting above average in the pub food department. On a quiet neighborhood corner, this is a bit of a locals spot. Nice drinks, great curries. 🍛 Seriously. Also fab schnittys, too. Outdoor courtyard area and of course, all of the sports on. Main downside is that the smokers' area (outside, I think) wafts everywhere and makes it a bit ick.

As Camperdown locals, we had our first experience at The Victorian Hotel tonight. What a fantastic experience! The pub has a great atmosphere, full of locals and families. The menu is extensive and interesting…. I had the special which was a pork knuckle which is just amazing. The waitress was so helpful and so friendly…..just lovely. We went to the bar twice and on both occasions the bar staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful. The food was stunning, and the chef came out to check on how we found experience… On leaving the venue, not only did the chef again thank us for coming, but all three bar staff smiled and wished us a great night, and then even the security guy open the door for us and thanked us for coming! What an all round lovely...
