This is the Rueben Eggs Benedict – 10hr slow cooked corned beef, beetroot sauerkraut, melted swiss cheese, poached eggs and tomato hollandaise served on sourdough. . Just being an influencer again for half a second. It’s hard to find a good Rueben in Sydney but I have found a place, with a twist, a true local gem. This humble family run business serves great classic dishes and drinks. Yes, coffee is good here also.

What has become a signature menu item, Clover have married the Rueben with a classic brekky dish, this Rueben eggs benedict is everything you expect from a great Rueben. The accompanying ingredients are fun and tasty, but the hero is the slowed cooked corned beef which just falls apart. You don’t need a knife, just a fork to tease the beef apart.

It gets better, the service here is warm and friendly. You really feel like part of the community here. If you like food with a kick, you can get that too by adding Sriracha or Tabasco to your food.

Hi, really disappointing experience. I usually buy daughter and I drinks after our music class. The cafe charged me $150 extra for a coffee, babychino and muffin. I’ve never had this happened to me before, but I called and they assured me it’s an easy refund. They asked me to attend in person.

I’ve been told that I’m incorrect 4 times as I wait in their cafe for 15 minutes.

The owner has told me it’s my fault 3 times despite both our accounts showing the erroneous transaction. I’ve ended up crying and leaving, I’ve never been humiliated before by someone who’s stolen from me and been made to felt like a nuance when I’m simply trying to get my own money back.

I’m so sad my daughter and I can’t have our post music class coffees here on Saturday morning.

They’re rude and aggressive. I will have to escalate to Fair Trading as I do not know how to communicate with this business.

Clover Café has a great menu but I’m a creature of habit so I tend to get either of the same two dishes when I go there, the Bircher Muesli or Corn fritters. The Bircher Muesli is the best I’ve ever tasted. It has divine fresh forest fruits, poached pear and lychee and the flavour is so good. The corn fritters come with smoked salmon, avocado, beetroot purée and a little bit of salad that has a delicious dressing and the fritters themselves are yum. Maybe one day I’ll try something else because every dish I see coming out of the kitchen looks tempting. The owners and staff are lovely and it’s always a pleasure going there.
