If I could give more than 5 stars, I would - the native cocktail class is amazing! I'm not from Sydney, and decided to do it with my friend for a taste of something different; and we loved learning about the diverse Australian ingredients and different ways they can be used; and the flavours of everything we tried were really nice! Even if you don't like a specific type of alcohol, you can't taste it at all (though that definitely does NOT mean it's weak!).

We got to make & try four very different cocktails, which, for a $90ish class is very good value; and afterwards, when we were talking to the amazing mixologist, and asked him about teas that he'd mentioned earlier during the night that we could make with some of the native ingredients, he gave us the leftover ingredients, and taught us how to make those, and a syrup, too (without a demonstration).

I really love that he gave us the knowledge to explore these ingredients in new & different ways, in a way that we could put into practice on our own; and it was great that he was able to answer all the questions we had, even about the spelling of the ingredients as we were taking notes!

10/10, this was a very worthwhile, fun, educational experience, and I would definitely...

Went with a partner for a fun date night and came away with an amazing experience to remember. Sadly no photos for my review because we were all so in the moment no one had time to take any photos!

The cocktails alone were worth the price of entry - 4 delicious cocktails each with a unique twist on a classic recipe using native Australian plants found out in the wild. These were not your average flavour profiles! Even if you might not be a typical fan of some of the base spirits used in the cocktails, Chris has concocted something truly special out of them, taking each drink far beyond the mere sum of its parts.

Beyond just the drinks however, Chris really elevated the entire experience of the class with his sharp wit and banter, walking us through the history of the drinks and ingredients involved, and giving detailed answers to all the questions on the various syrups, infusions and concoctions he crafted. The conversation flowed as smoothly as the drinks did, and the whole evening was an entire vibe.

Overall a 5/5 highly recommend, must try at least...

We had the most amazing experience with Tippled. We were looking for a cocktail class that was a little different and boy were we amazed at how awesome the experience was. Our last cocktail thing was more about shilling us certain brands of booze, but Chris, the amazing cocktail master that runs Tippled, was about so much more than that. He took us through a journey of every ingredient that went into the drinks. He made all the mixers and infused all his own syrups from scratch, from ingredients that came from the local area that he'd foraged himself. There was so much personality and love put into every, amazingly delicious drink we were absolutely gobsmacked. We had such a great time with Chris as he took us on the journey that was his class. Delivering hilarious stories and so much great info the whole time. We came away with an experience we'll never forget. If you're looking for a great night and some amazingly delicious drinks look no further than Tippled. You will not be...

TLDR: 10/10 recommend had such an amazing night, with amazing drinks. What an amazing night. Our fabulous host made us all feel so welcome. His energy was phenomenal and really made the evening super fun. Absolutely fantastic time and definitely a 10/10 recommended experience. This would be so fun as either a private event or like my group did with other people. For the best experience I highly recommend going with at least one other person. The cocktails were an absolute highlight they were all delicious and truly the mark of an incredibly talented mixologist. The drinks were also of very high quality. Overall, highly recommend attending if given the opportunity. I have added a couple pictures of 2 of the 4 drinks we made .

Chris was an amazing host! Don't look anywhere else if you want a small intimate and fun cocktail class. Chris handles all the bookings himself so please have patience during the booking process. We were a team of 5 who chose to do this for our end of year outing and we had a really amazing time. Chris has in-depth knowledge about different cultures, Australian native botanicals and can also make up for a decent standup comic himself. His love for cocktails and passion for doing this job is clearly seen in the way he runs these classes. We had a gala time and made 4 cocktails which were better than what most of the bars usually offer. So hurry up and book a class with Tippled!
