Ordered a coffee to go while I was on my work break. My break only lasts 30 minutes so while I was waiting I sat down and ate my food that I had brought from home. I didn’t plan on staying there (which is why I ordered my coffee to go) I was just waiting for the coffee I ordered. Then the owner came up to me and told me that I couldn’t eat my food in the cafe… Really? I’m a paying customer not just some random person using their facilities.
Reading through all the owners replies to the negative reviews, it is clear that he blames everyone else but himself for the negative reviews but eventually he will have to realise he is a problem and needs to work on his customer service.
The place was empty when I sat down so is it really worth saying anything?
You can’t eat outside food even if your friends ordered their food, You can’t eat outside food even if you ordered their coffee, You can’t eat their food in their dining area if you ordered their food for delivery. And when u do get the privilege of eating at their average dining area you have to pay extra!
It truly is ridiculous and remarkable that such an average cafe has this stance on their dining area. I understand they are running a business but there are 2 other cafes literally next door to them and they decide to treat their customers this poorly..
I and my team will be boycotting them and going next door. I hope it...
Read moreWent in for lunch and got the spicy chicken zaatar and pumpkin arancini. The spicy chicken zaatar was nicely toasted and the pumpkin arancini had nice texture. I feel that the spicy chicken was not spicy at all though and could have done with a smidgen more seasoning. The pumpkin arancini was a a tad bland also, just needed that extra bit of seasoning which would have brought out the flavours. Customer service was great especially by the lady with long hair. Her customer service skills were on point! very efficient and friendly. Pricewise, very cheap and affordable especially for Barangaroo. As lunch service gets quite busy, I would love to see stanchions or something so people don’t cut infront of people who have been waiting longer. There are many line cutters who pretend as though they didnt see you...
Read moreMy work mate was ordering food from this place in the lobby and I just needed a cutlery pack for my lunch, the man working there tried to charge me $1.50 for a wooden fork because I wasnt buying anything else, saying I take one everyday; this is the first time I've done this here. Extremely rude, let alone scandalous.
Seeing the replies to the negative reviews says it all. I have bought food here once before and had a similar poor experience with the customer service. I was not charged extra for the cutlery pack this time so do you pick and choose, is that it? That was also not this week so your glasses aren't working because I have not taken a cutlery pack before. Seems you have your own problems you're dealing with. Very embarrassing considering your age is up there but everyone needs...
