I have been in this restaurant three times, and I thought it was so good. Today I decided to order take away. When the food arrived I was so excited; as I am a Thai food lover. Unfortunately; the food was insanely salty. It was impossible to eat it. Only the steam rice was not salty. I called the restaurant and told them about. Their answer was that the sauce was already pre made and that the vegetables had soy sauce that was not salty. I told her that the food was so salty that made saliva is salty after eating some of the food. To that; she (apparently the manager) responded: what do you want me to do?” I said like any good busines manager refound me my money for what I was unable to eat due to the amount of salt in it; or just give me the credit to use it another time. Also told her that they could come to collect the food from my house as it was going to go to the trash otherwise. She didn’t answer anything for a long time. Then she said “Hello)))!” I Said I’m waiting for you to answer something. She just went back to explain me that the sauce was pre made and that the vegetable had soy sauce and not salt. I ended up finishing the phone call abruptly as I understood we were going nowhere. Long story short; I lost my money but they lost more as they...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Divine Dining Experience

My partner, his family, and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Yok Thai Restaurant on our last night in Sydney, and it was nothing short of divine. Coming from Brisbane, we were hoping for a memorable evening, and this restaurant exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly kind, lovely, and exceptionally good at their job, making us feel right at home.

The food was outstanding—every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The highlight for us was the sticky rice and mango dessert, which was simply delicious and the perfect way to end our meal. The wine selection was exceptional as well, complementing our meal beautifully.

Without a doubt, Yok Thai Restaurant is the best Thai restaurant we’ve ever been to. We are so glad we chose to spend our last night in Sydney here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable...

We are not going back, despite being regular customers.

We walked in without a reservation for an early dinner, with baby in a pram. We were given a table but told we there was a booking a little bit more than an hour after.

The service was very rushed and we were told we could not have a desert, even thought we finished our mains 20min before the next service, there were other people who walked in after us without reservations being served still, and many tables still empty.

The food is good, but the service was very poor this time. We were rushed the whole time and so we didn’t get the service we paid for. We ordered a full dinner entrees, mains and wines, so we spent a fair amount. They should not have accepted us if they could not serve us properly. We have had a similar experience with take away, waiting more than an hour after expected, because they were too busy.

These things ruin the experience and we won’t...

I have been coming to this wonderful Thai restaurant in Manly, Sydney, since it was a little hole in the wall in 2005. It’s tagline back, then was “Creative Thai Cuisine.”. The menu has expanded ;and the patronage.. (and the patronage…!) has evolved, since yet the service has remained the same.. Consistently excellent..! If you come to Sydney and you want Thai food and you don’t come here, you’re truly missing out…!! 🥂 Jay and the team have focused on authentic Thai cuisine. This is not “dumbed down” for so called “Western taste…”. As Molly Meldrum would say..do yourself a favour…. 😎🥂😎
