Young Henrys - Craft Brewery and Tasting Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

The beer selection was great. I really love the colorful and greenery interior. Seems like a great local spot for many. The only reason giving three instead of five starts was the unfriendly bar staff when I visited the second time. The first time I went, the guy (Long curly hair guy) behind the bar was super friendly, introduced the different types of beer they got to offer, smiley and overall a great experience. That led me to go there the day after for a flight as they didn't serve flights anymore because it was near closing time the first time. The second time was a big mistake, the bar staff was a guy with buzz cuts and glasses. I was second in line, he was chatting with the guy in front of me who seemed to be a regular, and then when it was my turn, he just went to the side and started writing something down. I figured he probably had to record something, and just stand there waiting for him to be finished, 10 seconds later he looked up and just was like, what do you want? I asked if they do flights, yes, 4 or 6, 6, which ones, can you recommend hoppy ones? No we don't have much hoppy I'll just pick it for you. I tried to lighten up the mood to compliment his shirt, thanks. Zero smiles the entire time, almost like I owe him something or did something to offend him. Won't mind if this was a random fast-food restaurant, but never had someone this unfriendly in any brewery I have...

We had a well planned pub crawl day with our friends today that included 4 breweries where the last stop was Young Henry’s, I wish they chose another venue because it ruined our night. We were a little behind our group that went in before us and ended up being stood up at the door at 6 pm at night saying they have reached capacity. Whilst we were kept waiting,the 20 something year old too full of herself person that was allowed as gate keeper let her friends in in front of us. She has been very rude and accused us of having angst, it is only natural to feel frustrated after an incident like this on a casual Saturday. I will blame the management and the unprofessionalism of the establishment to allow someone like that at the door insulting customers. I would totally not recommend anyone to go there and also will cease consuming their beers elsewhere going forward. There are so many nice craft breweries in Sydney where you get great service and great beers, unfortunately this is not one of them and I would definitely recommend...
