The food is great - cannot fault it one bit. We're regular customers but to be honest we’re quite over how rigid they are with bookings, to the point where they make you feel uncomfortable. An example is, ask you to leave even after you’ve just spent almost $500. They don’t attempt to shuffle tables around in order to accommodate if someone wants to stay slightly longer. You get 2 messages confirming your attendance, then they call you as well, as you arrive they tell you it’s a 2 hr limit, and then 15 mins prior to the end of booking they tell your time is up soon. We were asked to leave even though we wanted the desert menu, their excuse was “we’re fully booked out and people waiting” and we turned around and counted 5 tables that were free and empty. I appreciate that they were all booked but naturally people arrive late and things can be shuffled. After telling them we were all unhappy and felt rushed and kicking us out they then suggested they could see if they could shuffle tables. Too late. Generally we have found that bookings and the logistics around that are always a hassle with this place - makes the whole experience a lot less enjoyable. Not the friendliest staff either, just kind of doing their job and don’t seem happy...

Visited Zushi on a quiet mid week for dinner recently. It once again exceeded expectations and delivered a great meal. The service was excellent, and we were well look after.
The great thing about Zushi is the seasonal menu specials, which make every visit a little different. We enjoy coming back again and again. Highlight on this visited was the charcoal Murray cod, it was perfectly cooked, nice crunch on the skin and an amazing sauce to cut the richness of the fish. I’m a HUGE fan of hibachi cooked fish. Other notable dishes include the tuna tartlet, which was a nice little flavour bomb. The sashimi special of Kingfish with a sesame based sauce was also excellent. The sashimi and sushi was extremely fish and delicious.
Enjoyed my night thoroughly and look forward to dinning again soon.

This was my first omakase experience, and was honestly fantastic. All the seafood and wagyu was fresh, tender and very tasty. Chef Han was very friendly and informative about the dishes he prepared. Overall highly recommend...
