This quaint little restaurant in Swansea was a delightful dining experience, and a must do if you’re in the area. The young waitress was absolutely lovely and incredibly attentive which was impressive to watch, especially given how busy it was getting as more people strolled in! The chef also came out to ensure everyone was enjoying their meals which was a very thoughtful touch to the whole experience (and not something I’ve witnessed anywhere else to be honest!) The food was delicious, and I couldn’t help but look up why this only had a 4.7 rating; the only terrible reviews were from literally 10 years ago/someone who wanted to order a salad (when salad is not on the menu...so they didn’t have salad ingredients… what a shocker)/ and a disgruntled person who came to the restaurant when it was closed (honestly; next time just call the restaurant and leave a voicemail suggesting someone update their opening times as that’s simply human error, and certainly not a reason to give a wonderful local restaurant - which you did not dine in and who probably relies on reviews- a one star rating). Yes, the plates are small; it’s a damn tapas restaurant lol. The literal definition of “tapas” is “light snacks or appetizers, usually eaten with drinks” - so if you’re wanting a big hearty meal like a chicken schnitzel, try the pub down the road. If you’re wanting to leave with a smile on your face, a full belly of many different things you got to try, and a relaxing dining experience shared with friends (or solo), this is your place! And no; the food is not overpriced for what it is; it’s all super fresh, locally sourced produce they use in their dishes. Thank you, Branch, for a truly delightful dinner! (And apologies for forgetting to take more photos of all the food we ended up ordering to try!)

In town just for the day/night, I walked around looking for a restaurant to have a late dinner When I saw the beautiful lights on the tree (of their terrace) and heard the nice music coming from inside, I immediately knew I wanted to check it out The beautiful building gave me extra motivation And the warm welcome, by Kelsey, totally convinced me I had a look at the menu, and it had plenty of tempting options, especially made to share and coming by 3 (but you can eat them alone indeed as I did), with elaborated dishes made of oysters, scallop, salmon, chicken, pork, cheese... Lots and lots of drink options, wine, beer, cider, premixed, cocktails, whiskey, rum, tequila, liqueur, gin, vodka, tea, coffee, juices, lemonades... To drink I personally went for a apple juice (they even had 2 types!) And to eat I had chicken & smoked quail terrine, scallop ceviche, and the last but not the least, Melshell oysters (local ones), the spring hey pink him granita version as I was recommended... If like me you don't drink alcohol, don't worry, the way they prepare it and mix it it's actually sweet and super good Great food (that can easily be shared), great drinks, nice music, lovely staff, beautiful setting... Highly recommended!

Very lively busy atmosphere with cool music playing. Limited places to sit inside and cool places to relax outdoors in a terrace area. Pretty much the only place to eat that was open on a Tuesday in Swansea. Had the chicken sliders, which came out hot and were so tasty. The pulled beef tacos for “Taco Tuesday” were cold (both the taco wrap and the meat inside were cold) and they contained lots of juice/liquid. The two soft drinks we had tasted like they were pre-mix and not from a bottle. The Hartz Raspberry softdrink was way too sweet for my liking and reminded me of cough medicine. Would recommend the sliders but not the tacos or softdrink. Total bill was $50. Bit exxy for the portion sizes, but with not many places to eat, I guess they can charge what they want for tapas. Service was friendly. They didn’t offer water…You have to request it.

Whilst travelling around Tasmania we found this gem of a restaurant in a small place called Swansea. The restaurant is housed in an old Commercial Bank of Australia building which makes for a lovely setting and there is also provided outdoor dining which we choose on our visit. The menu was a Tapas offering with a large variety of dishes from fish, chicken, beef, dips, vegetarian. Our party of three chose a mixture of 6 dishes which was more than enough. Although not entirely cooked in a Spanish style the food was excellent. The flavours from each dish exploded on our palates and we all agreed it was an excellent meal. The wine on offer as well as a variety of other drinks were from the local wineries in the area so of course we had a fabulous choice available to us both in variety and quality. To finish l could not resist a white chocolate and raspberry crème brûlée which was delicious which we all shared. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient. The restaurant also provides live music on some night and other theme dishes on different days. If you are in the locality l totally recommend you to visit this...
