Tenterfield Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in Tenterfield

I need to say, id rate the food here as 5 star, it's delicious that's why we made the trip from southern NSW and allowed the time to visit for a meal on our way to QLD. The 3 star rating I have given is probably harsh but giving room for encouragement on their ordering and service. Although the interaction was very pleasant, the order was completely incorrect. We ordered 2 pasta meals and a garlic bread in the name of JT. We got 2 pizzas and a garlic bread for Scott. They were very helpful in rectifying the issue ever delivering our meals to our accommodation. However, we received one correct pasta meal and one Bolognese instead of Carbonara. Now previously having a cafe of our own, mistakes happen and as I say if your going to stuff up, do it properly and get it over with, lol. My advise is a simple system like FETTACHINI BOL, CARB, PRAWN, PUMPKIN and LASAGNE, with the name of the order (JT) on the box or bag. That way when the order is handed over at the counter and paid for, that order is read to the customer, giving the staff member a chance to pick up any errors before it leaves the shop. This gives three checks, one at point of order, one at point of collection from the kitchen that the right meals are there, and lastly a final check with the customer. We have always tried to be open when eating out in country towns so we have eaten here about 6 times on our travels Pizza is tasteless and base is like biscuit base We have had every flavour group. Seafood hot spicy suprême they basically taste like a home made pizza with black and gold brand sauce cheese is not mozzarella it's pretty average so today we had half half spicy pizza suprême there was no spicy flavour and it tasted like sauce from can with gooey beans and corn chips on top disgusting my wife asked girl and she wouldn't say anything to owner and when she pushed her he yelled out thanks What the hell Also no salt in food makes bland food ly friend Spicy should have some spice Sweet BBQ should be that Cheesy should be cheesy mozzarella not cheddar mild anyhow if your starving buy one but they are not worth 25$ But locals have little choices so it's probably suprême to them but it ain't pizza and if he were anywhere else he...

Avoid this place like plague.The whole experience was stressful.When we ordered in store the man serving was flustered and stressed.It seemed chaotic and unprofessional.We ordered and were told it would be 20 mins.We waited in the store and the man kept coming out yelling asking if we had ordered pizzas which clearly weren’t our order .We heard yelling and swearing coming from the kitchen it was getting uncomfortable.We finally got our pizza 45 mins later it was not worth the wait.You taste the stress .It was worst than a McCain frozen pizza the base was not cooked in middle yet burnt on the edges.The toppings were slopped on and from cans nothing was fresh.I couldn’t eat this horrible excuse for a pizza.We were visiting from Brisbane and unfortunately our other choice of dining was booked out.This a warning to any travellers don’t bother with this place.From other reviews seems the locals know this...
