Let’s be honest right from the word go here.

The 4 stars isn’t for the food now. It’s more for the memories. Of how amazing Schnitz used to be.

It’s sad to think there was a point where my fiancé and I would eat this once every 2-3 weeks and I would look so forward to it.

Now however things have changed. The last two times we have been it’s been off. The second last time the burgers tasted as if they were off. And the chips were undercooked

And then today when we went the burgers had that much sauce that we couldn’t taste anything but the sauce. Our chips had that much salt on them I finished a 600ml drink before I’d even eaten 1/4 of them.

We got a kids meal today and it was the same, over sauced and the sweet potato chips were more salt than chips

It’s not to say it’s all bad there don’t get me wrong lovely staff and I love the fact they have high chairs for little ones.

My review on menulog was removed. The first time I tried this restaurant was 2 years ago and it was perfect. Now however they have really dropped the ball on their service and food quality. I had missing items in a delivery meal. The person who responded to my call only offered to send the missing items if I ordered them again and paid AGAIN for delivery and the chips. So they wanted me to pay them again for a mistake they made. The only other option was for me to drive there and pick up! Or drive there for a refund. In the end I was offered a full refund that I'm still waiting for! The food was way below par in quality in comparison to the first time I ate from this restaurant. The portions are not worth the money and the food appearance shows no care or pride. Whoever made the food has no passion for what they do. It's sad.
