Absolutely the worst meal & service we have ever encountered in Toowoomba. It's unfortunate because the cafe is a lovely venue. The wait staff need retraining! You do not, I repeat do not put a can of coke or bottle of juice into the top of a plastic cup with ice into it & carry it to the table! That's disgusting! Use a serving tray. The potential for germs to be on the bottom of that can then placed into the cup of the consumer is a recipe for germ poisoning. Not to mention it's unprofessional. When your wait staff bring drinks to the table they need to say what the drink is & as who's it it is. Not just dump it and run. The staff got the order wrong when ordering, 2 drinks came to our table wrong & needed to be rectified. Then to top it off, 2 of the dishes were terrible. Salads that wernt washed, old, brown & inedible. Barramundi fillet that was straight out of a box. For the price that was disgusting, fatty & not even cooked correctly it was raw in parts. A handful of cold chips! Do not eat here, you will be sadly dissatisfied. Also a $7 drink served in a plastic take away cup was downright insulting, use a decent glass! Also a snitty from the Coles deli department is not good on the plate for the price you are charging. Don't let the photos...

If you’re looking for a nice quiet place with a view to take a break from Christmas shopping don’t go here. The tables with the view are always closed off (at least they have been every one of the three times I’ve been there) and the music is loud & not at all relaxing. The owners need to research their music genres better - rap is designed to be the very opposite of relaxing! I didn’t get the food I’d ordered yesterday so I can’t comment on that. I waited for 10 minutes or so for a muffin & a bottled iced tea but couldn’t take the loud music and “view” any longer. I asked for my money back which the poor, overworked girl behind the counter gave me. I felt bad for her. She was trying to fill a huge order at another table all on her own. There were at least three staff members there but the other two were cleaning & closing down the restaurant even though it was an hour til closing and there were paying customers there. I watched one lady who came in after me stand at the counter for quite a few minutes waiting to be served. She ended up...

Today 20th October, was the 2nd time I’ve visited this cafe. First time had a pasta dish, tasted OK but the pasta was not cooked thru enough. Pass on that, so thought I’d give it another try and today had a fruit tart and cappuccino. The tart was brought out without the coffee, (waited another four minutes for that) and was served with a dob of cream which I was not asked if I wanted it or not and the receipt (which I asked for prior) showed I had been charged 50c. Day light robbery, I usually don’t go for extras because cafes like to charge an arm and a leg for it. The coffee was tepid, something that amazes me to order a HOT drink only to have it almost COLD. To top of off, the staff were so unfriendly and sloppy. Couldn’t humour either if you tried. Real shame as the position of this business is in a good spot at Grand Central, looks appealing but don’t let that fool you. I’m wondering how this survives and the...

Our experience today could have been better - without much extra effort. The table we were put on had food underneath that hadn’t been cleaned up from the previous patrons. My friends meal arrived before mine which wasn’t ideal, but rather than let it go cold I told her to start eating. Luckily she did, because I waited an extra 12 minutes for mine to arrive. The special - barramundi fillet with chips and salad - took ages to arrive and it’s hard to understand why. The barramundi was battered and this wasn’t mentioned anywhere; which is frustrating as I’m someone who avoids gluten. The fish didn’t come with any lemon or sauce. The salad was mediocre and tasteless at best. The only reason they aren’t getting a one star is because the staff were dutifully pleasant and the coffee was good. In future, I wouldn’t go back for the food.

Found myself here after every other cafe in the area had closed at this time. Overall nice reasonably large cafe open later than others, serving a broad array of menu items, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian meals. FOOD: Basic but good. Interesting that the beans brekky contains such a small amount of beans. They have an incredible range of sweet gluten free options in the front glass cabinets. STAFF: Efficient and open to being flexible with their menu variations. LOCATION: right in the Middle of town, in the shipping centre. Parking available downstairs or on street. ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair and pram friendly. Large space, could easily suit bigger groups and they have private little bench/booth areas too.
