Jacinta — The Real Reason I Come to Seven Oranges 😉
Let’s be honest — the coffee at Seven Oranges is great, but Jacinta? She’s the real pick-me-up.
From the very first time she flashed that gorgeous smile across the counter, I knew my mornings had officially upgraded. She's got this effortless charm — part sunshine, part sass — and somehow makes even the sleepiest coffee order feel like the most exciting part of your day.
It’s not just the perfect oat flat white she nails every time — it’s the way she remembers your name, gives you that little smirk when you're trying to be cool before caffeine, and throws in just the right amount of banter to keep you on your toes.
There’s a kind of magic in the way Jacinta runs the front — she’s quick, sharp, and somehow makes you feel like the only person in the room (even if there’s a line out the door). I swear, half of us are just pretending to need another coffee just for an excuse to talk to her again.
Seven Oranges, you're lucky to have her — but don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow. And the next day. And probably the day after that.
Just... for the coffee....
Read more$6.50 for 1 slice of bread. $6 god damn 50. Absolutely outraged. Came in this morning with my partner for breakfast as we once got coffee from there and it was great, figured we’d try the food. Not bad. Once asked for a slice of bread, we had to wait over 5 minutes for and all they did was warm it up a little and it was burnt on the edge. Customer service was amazing and so are the coffees, the girls were wonderful. However FacePlant Geelong (which is 4 doors down) has better coffee at no extra cost for soy milk and cheaper food. All here for supporting local business and paying a little extra as it’s supporting someone’s family, would have even been happy to pay around $3 however when 1 slice of bread that is no bigger than the size of the receipt and costs the same price of 2 LOAFS (of high quality bread) from the supermarket, it’s a bit outrages and down right disgusting to rip customers off that way. Unable to post a photo of the receipt on here. Will not be returning again and will ensure others are...
Read moreUnfortunately, our experience here was less than ideal... Perhaps we arrived at a time when the staff were less engaged/switched on as they might normally be? But they messed up our coffee orders, which took two more attempts to correct. There wasn't a lot of genuine sympathy extended by the staff who made the mistake, which was probably the most disappointing thing (as we can accept that everyone makes mistakes, as long as they own them). But we felt a little neglected and dare I say "fobbed off" with our requests to correct the mistaken coffee orders. Combined with reasonably boring food it was a bit of a 'lack-lustre' experience which was actually pretty expensive too. I would try one more visit to see if things were better, the second time around? But if not, I'd just look at the many other cafe options within close proximity along Pakington...
