Panache geelong west — Restaurant in Victoria

Absolutely would 10/10 NEVER enter this place again. I am never one to complain but we were very disappointed with this place today. Waited at least 30 mins for our food to come out, one of our crepes came out and we imagined our next crepe would be out shortly (We paid and ordered 2) We were wrong and turned out they only made one of our crepes. After already waiting 30 minutes for our very average meal and almost undrinkable coffee, we then asked for a refund for the meal we didn't end up receiving (we didn't have time to wait around another 30 odd minutes) The young girl behind the counter just gave us a weird look and made us feel like this was not her problem and didn't once apologize for her mistake. The guy who I assume is the manager also didn't even look us in the eye, he just handed us a cash refund for the missing meal. No apologises, no smile, no friendliness whatsoever it was disgusting. I felt so sad eating here as I felt like I was supporting child labour. They had one young girl serving, cooking, making coffees and waiting on tables whilst an older man just stood there ignoring customers and doing unnecessary dishes at the time. The venue was pack and the poor girl had to do it all alone. Whilst working the girl was slamming and smashing dishes around and had really poor customer service which came across really rude as a customer BUT when observing the situation she was actually holding back tears as she was under so much pressure and not getting any help. I hope this girl finds a new job where they value her because she was working the load of 5 people alone.

Would not recommend. Waited almost 40 minutes for food. There was only one girl working, taking orders, making coffees and food (pretty much everything) and the poor girl was running around like crazy. The boss was walking around but not helping her at all. Very poor on his behalf letting her run around without helping her when the whole cafe was full and everyone waiting on their orders. My girlfriend who was also eating with me found plastic in her satay chicken crepe. Very poor experience, worst Panache we’ve ever been to (and we absolutely love Panache!). Would not recommend. If the poor girl working is reading this, get a new job where you’re actually appreciated and taken care of! No one should have to work like that.
