Goldfields Cycle Sports Club — Restaurant in Victoria

Sadly, I am unable to provide a zero star review for the customer service we received. We are regular customers and members of the club. I was disgusted at the shocking attitude and the way the staff member, Xavier, spoke to us. My partner saw a shopping trolley caught by the wind heading straight for the highway, he ran and caught in time before any serious damage was done, he moved it into the court yard of the premises, due to the windy conditions. Xavier came out and extremely rudely, with attitude said to my partner ‘you can’t put it in here’ we politely said that that we had just put it out of harms way until the wind died down.He then proceeded to put it back outside of the courtyard in a place where it could be collected by the wind and run on to the highway and cause a major accident. When I tried to explain why we had moved the trolley, the disgusting attitude and words that were spoken to us were like we were common criminals! If he speaks to all customers in this manner I’m surprised there is any...

This is a cute little cafe, it’s just unfortunate that there are no vegan or dairy free options (they even ran out of avocado). No syrup available for the coffee, no dairy free muffins or cakes. This place has SO MUCH potential, it’s just lacking in areas which are painfully obvious… if they had a decent menu which caters for everyone, they can take advantage of the wonderful location they are in and attract a more cultured demographic. You could even attract the after work drinks crowd...

Underwhelming, dropped in Sunday afternoon for coffee and cake. Won't bother again! I asked for a long black with cream on the side, young lady said that would be fine. Paid, sat and waited. Long black came out, with a sorry no cream but I can froth up some milk. I don't drink milk, nor black coffee so I asked that the coffee be taken away. coffee was removed without even an offer of a refund. Clearly the focus here is the gaming venue...
