Son of an Elk — Restaurant in Victoria

Son of an Elk was truly amazing to my wife and myself. Our son was in hospital, in a serious condition, my wife was ordering food when I had to call her back to the hospital as our son was had lapsed into an even more serious condition. The staff her said to her “don’t worry about a thing just go”. We returned some 3hrs later, and without missing a beat, they started to re-make her order of food and coffees, even slipped in a couple of sweat treats seeing we were having a shocker of a day. It was just a fantastic experience to feel so looked after in such a stressful time....

Amazing food! Crispy pork roll is fabulous! We arrived around 3:06 and even though the kitchen was closed the chef very kindly allowed us to order. Great coffee, using real choloclate shavings instead of chocolate powder, a very unique and friendly atmosphere, great music as well, not too loud or obnoxious. Also great value for money, as servings were a decent size. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars was that the humidity level was beyond what one would consider comfortable...

Was checking reviews and after seeing the 4.6 rating decided to visit. Maybe I asked for the wrong thing but I just paid over $20 for a mushrooms cogee that I was explained it was like soup...nothing similar to that! it's kind of a porridge... I am sorry! But it's one of the most disgusting things I have ever tried in my life.... the coffee was way too bitter (I have it decaf) but even then it was way too strong... so in conclusion I left minus $20 and still very...
