From the first steps up the stairs you will be greeted with a whole new era. The aesthetic of the bar is what is truly remarkable. There is deliberate thought on how the bar has been created. From the door to the chairs, from the lighting to the decor. The detail is what makes this venue shine and transports you from modern day Australia back to the prohibition. It is a very intimate venue.

The selection of drinks on and off the menu are spectacular. A very diverse range of drinks, and the staff are able to make any cocktail or mocktail that is requested.

The staff are attentive to your needs and are very approachable. Their mannerisms and interactions are a rarity in the bar service industry. This is something that separates themselves from other bars alone, and if anything else - it is comforting to know that you're going to be taken care of.

The 18th Amendment Bar should definitely be on your list when you go to during your night out. There is no reason not put this on your list of bars to hit up if you're spending a night out on the town!

The 18th Amendment is a Chicago prohibition themed, speakeasy cocktail bar now with two locations. They combine elegance with innovation, providing not only exciting and beautiful cocktails, but they taste incredible too. 🍸

Initially only intending to come for a drink or two, my friend and I ended up staying for hours, trying almost every cocktail on the menu. There are about 4 with special effects, I appreciated this concept, it really was a lot of fun. 🪄

The service from start to end was exceptional, happily offering to tailor make something or recommend a cocktail to your taste. If for whatever reason you don’t like it, they will replace it with something else. They would rather have you enjoy your drink than sit there with one you don’t like because honestly, is there anything worse?

David and George OMG .. These people are by far the most sincere professionals I have seen in a long while . There knowledge about there products cocktails origin of there alcohol . Mind blowing.. With.. The who and how's of these two belong in a best seller book.. With them David and George. it Doesn't just stop a order .. Or a quick Google search..
