Piano Bar Geelong — Restaurant in Victoria

From a musos perspective, having played a lot of different venues, to me, this one is thee most professionally well set up and accommodating place for not only the revellers but for us musos too! The hospitality here was outta sight! The attention to detail from the whole bar set up to the table arrangements, to the stage layout, sound and the sound engineering... There was even sound deadening materials on the walls opposite the stage so as to even out the acoustics in the room... Even the hand dryers in the bathrooms were proper jet propelled blowers that actually dry ones hands, yass! The staff though busy doing a great job for their patrons went above and beyond for us/me (fed me after kitchen close) even after I was an hour late to start after a Hellish drive through peak "hours" around the bay from the Morn-Pen to Gee-town. *I had the Lamb and Tzatziki with rocket flat bread and it was pefectly cooked and truly delicious! 🤤 Last night was a truly triumphant night I believe, for The Old Married Couple Band! We had a full house and more than half of the audience up dancing and having a ball. It was fantastic! All in all, one of the best nights (and this was a Sold Out Tuesday!)..., of putting on a show that I've had the pleasure of playing and I hope I get to come back very soon... Only this time I'll take the Ferry to get there... I organised/attended a Hen's party at Piano Bar recently and it was nothing but INCREDIBLE! The staff helped the day run absolutely seamlessly, the food was delicious and the entertainment was everything we needed and more!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted and given a brief rundown for the day and asked how we would like the food/drinks/entertainment to run and all of our requests were accommodated. I cannot express enough how lovely and helpful all of the staff were on the day. The bar and food staff were extremely friendly and prompt. In particular, I would like to mention that Jess did an absolutely fantastic job, she was constantly checking in on how things were going, she was engaging with the attendees and making sure all our needs were met and was pivotal in the day running as amazing as it did. You are very lucky to have an amazing staff member like Jess on your team!

The entertainment was nothing next to amazing! We had Andy on the Piano who was incredible at getting the party started and Isis as our drag performer who was so funny and just what the day needed!

Was here over the weekend, the vibe of the place was amazing and the piano guy and singer were spectacular. However the staff were so rude and disrespectful. I was sitting down at one of the booths, people were dancing in front of me, one of them was a friend of mine. A waitress was walking through, my friend had lifted her hand up whilst dancing, as the waitress was walking through grabbed my friends arm so aggressively and pulled it down twisting it. I was so surprised by the amount of aggression. A simple excuse me would have been a much better option. Then when I was leaving I had to tell my in laws the Uber was there. I had taken my shoes off which I understand I was in the wrong entering the foyer without shoes on however as I walked back out a different waitress was at the door yelling at me telling me to leave and don’t come back.
