The Railyard Wangaratta — Restaurant in Victoria

I had lunch here with friends a few days ago and was disappointed ,then I have realised we were over charged.The Pancakes were too sweet the condiments for them sparce, the cake should have come with a side of cream but did not,the Turkey focaccia had no flavour not sure where the Brie was🤷🏼‍♀️.I asked for an iced coffee it never came,the lady asked if the iced coffee someone else had ordered was to be with cream and ice cream they said yes please no cream came with it.My coffee had a bitter taste nothing like the nice ones I have had here before. Pricing on the more expensive side so I must say I expect value...

I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business. What they served was not just disappointing—it was borderline inedible. The dish tasted awful, looked even worse, and somehow, this was listed as their chef’s special. I couldn’t tell what they were even trying to create. The flavours were a complete mess, the presentation was sloppy, and there was zero care put into the meal.

It genuinely made me question whether anyone in the kitchen actually tasted this before putting it on the menu. I wouldn’t serve this to anyone, let alone charge customers for it. An absolute disaster of a...

Most of the staff were quite rude, making us feel unwelcome because we ordered food 10 minutes before the kitchen closed even though we had called ahead of time to ensure it was still okay to order food. As for the food itself, it wasn't the freshest. The poached eggs were overdone and the bacon (requested to be crispy) was undercooked and fatty in the Eggs Benedict. I added chicken to a crispy rice bowl and it had zero flavour and a questionable, undesirable texture. Definitely wasn't worth the $90+. It's a shame because it's a nice establishment. Nonetheless,...
