Normally love Winter’s so much and it’s usually a beautiful time, however today I came in to order breakfast and was holding a coffee from another store. I had nearly finished it and was going to order another one. The waitress informed me that I would have to wait outside if I was holding another coffee. I informed her that I was sorry and was nearly finished with it, however she insisted that I leave and stood there until I was forced to place my cup underneath the table and assure her I wouldn’t drink it. I understand that you are a coffee store and would like customers to purchase your own food and coffee, however that was what I was doing and just happened to have purchased one earlier that I reiterate was nearly finished. I was so taken back at what was said to me that I left the shop without...

The coffee was well made & was from Code Black☕️ & the teas 🫖 are from Calmer Sutra…

The food arrived, both were a good size portion & presented cleanly.

Two nice generously sliced & coloured pieces of toast from a Bakery. Soft scrambled eggs & plenty of sautéed mushroom with herb garnish & 2 golden crunchy hash brown triangles. Plain but done well.

My Benedict looked enormous, colourful & I was eager to jump in. Moist pulled pork with the combo of corn, black beans, potatoes and onion was intriguingly different but enjoyable (it needed a little salt), the eggs were perfectly poached & the chipotle mayo & corn-chip crumb added interest. Yum 😋

All up, the service was professional and the food...

I got the grilled salmon, which turned out to be nothing like I expected it to be. It came with a small piece of salmon perched above a shakshuka/ratatouille-type mess of tiny potatoes, chickpeas, onion, peppers and other goodies topped with a spoonful of yoghurt. I admit, I was hoping for something more robust. I personally did not get the flavour combination. It was hard to say what the 'hero' of the dish was, and I was left feeling hungry. Perhaps a fattier meat like lamb could work in this combination. I also note that the salt and pepper pots had no corks. Usually that would not be a big deal, but in the COVID era we do need to be a...

Great food, great atmosphere, plenty of seating. It can be a little tricky to find a park but there is a carpark out the back. I ordered the Turkish eggs which was quite nice. It was a public holiday and quite busy so we had to wait about 15min to get a table, but the waitress was really nice, letting us sit at a table outside and then telling us when we could move inside. It took a little while for the food to come out but the staff were really friendly.
