Normally love Winter’s so much and it’s usually a beautiful time, however today I came in to order breakfast and was holding a coffee from another store. I had nearly finished it and was going to order another one. The waitress informed me that I would have to wait outside if I was holding another coffee. I informed her that I was sorry and was nearly finished with it, however she insisted that I leave and stood there until I was forced to place my cup underneath the table and assure her I wouldn’t drink it. The food arrived, both were a good size portion & presented cleanly.
Two nice generously sliced & coloured pieces of toast from a Bakery. Soft scrambled eggs & plenty of sautéed mushroom with herb garnish & 2 golden crunchy hash brown triangles. Plain but done well.
My Benedict looked enormous, colourful & I was eager to jump in. Moist pulled pork with the combo of corn, black beans,potatoes and onion was intriguingly different but enjoyable (it needed a little salt), the eggs were perfectly poached & the chipotle mayo & corn-chip crumb added interest. Yum 😋

It came with a small piece of salmon perched above a shakshuka/ratatouille-type mess of tiny potatoes, chickpeas, onion, peppers and other goodies topped with a spoonful of yoghurt. I admit, I was hoping for something more robust. I personally did not get the flavour combination. It was hard to say what the 'hero' of the dish was, and I was left feeling hungry.
