Chicken Treat Albany — Restaurant in Western Australia

Haven't been to Chicken Treat for a good few years, so finally decided to give it a go. Unfortunately I think it'll be a while before I go back here again.

Ordered two boxes (on the bone and boneless) and the contents inside weren't very pleasing. The boneless chicken box came with two nuggets. The other box came with a single mass of bones, batter and barely any chicken. Both boxes of chips were squashed full of chips and we're soggy with no crunch. Mash and gravy was runny and the mash didn't taste like potato at all, very questionable I'm afraid. The Tempta and Baconary burgers were good, but we're probably the best things in the box. We also ordered sides including the Chocolate Mousse and Garlic bread and they probably the only things we properly enjoyed.

We were looking forward to this, but we weren't very satisfied. Thank you for the friendly staff though....

Hubby and I have visited here many times mainly via drive through. Chips are always cooked properly. Out of all the times we've ordered here, there was only 1 time where the chips was slightly undercooked which should make Hungry Jacks, McDonalds and KFC envious since their chips are either soggy, undercooked or old 90% of the time (like isn't there a timer?). I usually go for the 2 crunchified chicken pieces and chips and hubby would get a tempta burger combo. The chicken is always tender and/or crispy where it needs to be. We go here because we know the quality of their food is consistent, which is pretty good for a fast food joint...

Ordered a chicken bacon cheese burger (CBC) in a meal. One for my wife and the other for myself. 4 pineapple fritters and came to $48. I thought I heard $28 and proceeded to the pickup window. I politely cancelled the order due the cost of such a thing. I'm not going to criticise anything else as the server was polite and I know the food is good but the pricing is outrageous. I've basicly stuck out the fast food places with these over to top prices. I drove a few kilometres away to a sandwich bar and picked up about the same quantity of food...
