Last night, I visited Delicioso with my friends, as we were craving durian ice cream. We’ve always enjoyed coming here for their Asian-flavored ice creams, but tonight was a shocking and disappointing experience.
We witnessed two staff members using the same wooden stick to taste multiple ice cream flavors—a clear violation of basic hygiene standards. Concerned, we approached the staff discreetly to remind them of the importance of proper hygiene in an eatery. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue, the staff bluntly denied it.
While I can overlook occasional lapses in service, this is an entirely different matter. Double-dipping into multiple tubs of ice cream is completely unacceptable and highly unsanitary. To my disgust, I felt so unsettled that I ended up throwing up after coming home.
I sincerely hope the owner revisits the shop’s hygiene protocols and ensures that staff adhere to proper food safety practices. Sadly, we’ve lost one of our favorite ice cream spots, as we can no longer trust its...

Read moreLittle gelato and frozen yoghurt bar with a newsagent/lottery kiosk on the side. There's a few small tables inside, but the ambiance is not really very good, I would recommend getting takeaway. The owner lady was really friendly and welcoming, giving my daughter and I tastes of the honeydew melon, and Pandan flavoured gelato. Both were delicious. The Pandan tastes just like Pandan chiffon cake with nice natural flavour and colour. We went with the honeydew flavour and we got some dried apricot and mango on the top. Really nice gelato and the topping complemented the fruity flavour well. We didn't get a chance to try the frozen yoghurt. There's a pretty big range of toppings you can get including sauces, chocolates,...
