Fremantle Sailing Club — Restaurant in Western Australia

My husband and I thought we would book a table here for our 10th wedding anniversary last week. When we got there we soon realised the menu in front of us was different to what was on their website so the children and I were disappointed as we had our hearts set on something we could no longer get. So we looked over the menu and placed an order. We ordered 2 entrees and 3 mains. One entrée arrived 45 minutes later, the other arrived with 2 of the main meals (1hr from ordering), one meal was forgotten. My husband got up to ask where the fillet mignon was and a few minutes later the chef walks it out unmasked, we were not impressed. On cutting into my fillet mignon I see that the bacon around it is completely black, couldn't be any more burnt, it was inedible. I then cut into the beef and it was also well done (ironic as it specifically states on the menu that it is served medium rare and above), it was so dry. My husband cuts into his steak and it is well done as well, not medium rare as he had asked. The only decent meal on our table was the wagyu beef burger our children shared. We ate as much as we could as we were so hungry by this point and left feeling absolutely ripped off. $167 for meals that were revolting and for terrible service. When we got married at the sailing club 10 years ago every single guest raved about the food and how amazing it was but that certainly isn't the case anymore. We were so disappointed in the venue and it has now left a bad taste about a place that held such a treasured memory. We are never going back and never referring the Fremantle Sailing Club to anyone anymore. A 10yr wedding anniversary is a special milestone and now we are left with a terrible memory from wanting to celebrate it where...

My son and daughter in law with her 83 year old mother had a fabulous lunch at FSC yesterday with grandchildren aged 12 and 8. We could hear each other, the venue was sparkling clean, our waiter, Scott, was attentive and efficient and we ALL enjoyed our different meals. All mains arrived within a minute of each other. I couldn’t fault it. And the view is gorgeous!! Thank you everyone at FSC! I visited again on Nov 11/23 and the service was just as good and the food fantastic! I love eating in this gorgeous space with its amazing view!! Once again on April 28/24 my sister in law and I had a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. We are always able to have a conversation without yelling and Scott is as attentive and delightful as always! September 24 I've had lunch twice in the last few weeks and it's still fabulous. Gotta say, I love this place's environment and its decoration. It just made my heart warm for some reasons. The place was clean. Bathroom is spacious and hygenic.

Staffs are very friendly. There are two sections: the bar and a proper dine-in resraurant.

The best part was the food. Omg!! I love my meal ( cant remember the name) , I highly recommend this dish ( in the picture). Honestly, I am very stingy with compliments toward food when we dine- out; espectually, if there menu is considered $$$. The pasta, hands up, was delicious. However, I was disappointed with their cream brelee because the caramilised sugar on top was as thin as a piece of paper. The dish came with bitscotti , which was thick and, with respect, was some unenjoyable biscuit that should never have been called bitscotti.
